I Am Stepping Out on a Limb Here...
I have, for years, 'kept my light under a bushel', afraid to say my goals to myself and certainly to others. What if I didn't succeed? Then everyone would know. However, this reticence has also held me back from doing many of those things. I have learned that keeping mum made meeting those goals so much harder.
Enough of this! I have EFT'd myself and gotten rid of the blocks, and now I am coming out of the closet and declaring that these things are happening in my life before I breath my last in this body! Heck, I am only 60 and we all know that 60 Is The New 40 .
Oh, and here is the EFT information! EFT, When Nothing Else Works and Free From Office Emotions With EFT.
This first list is three topics with three goals each. It will grow and grow, I hope the growth interests you
Everything in the present
While these events are in the future, I have written them as complete. That, folks, is how you attract what you want. No wishing or hoping, it is a done deal!
Thus, everything here has been written in the present or past tense. I am riding horses 3 times a week, I have completed my documentary.
"As I write this on 10/7/08, I know I have completed the work for Giant Squid by 10/20/08.
Done 10/11"
My Business Success:
1. I have relieved 30,000 people of 90,000 blocks that get in the way of their business success, putting millions of dollars in their pockets.
2. I have mentored one local young woman, who thought she would always be poor, to start her own successful business.
3. I have created a network for business women in 7 countries to share their work and travel to meet and help each other.
Business Goals Are the Foundation.
1. Boy, helping 30,000 people with 90,000 problems was a big job! But the EFT and Business course I created along with the EFT Gym and weekly training calls made it possible. Lots of people made lots of money! Yea!2. My mentoring was harder. Its a real trick to get these girls to feel that they deserve and can get success in their lives. I had one girl in mind; worked really hard to get her to almost graduate, then weeks away from graduation she moved in with some guy, wouldn't tell anyone where she was and dropped out of school! Broke my heart and her grandma's.
I persevered and found someone else. The day that she also dropped out of school, I was so discouraged. I was ready to give up, but shortly after I got home, I got a call from the first one! After a year 'on the run' she had moved back with her grandmother, gone back to school, graduated and was planning on going to Wake Tech in the winter. Talk about the universe giving me what I needed at that moment. Anyway, she wanted to get counseling from me again, so I put her back on my list! I had to be careful, because she is still skittish about success, but she is coming along! Oh, and I haven't given up on the second one, but she is really a tougher case. We have to be real here.
3. The third is harder. It involves making businesses and going international. I started by making connections with Heifer, and groups that are helping third world women start businesses. They were interested in my concept of having these businesses connect around the world. The American group is going well, and we are talking about what country to go to next. I am thinking India, but we will see.
The Business Videos I Have Made In the Future
My Creative Endevors
1. I have learned to ride, am leasing a horse and riding at least three times a week.
2. I have finished my documentary on kids from my church making relationships with Death Row Inmates
3. I have built my own Green house.
The Many Ways I Created
1. I wanted a horse so badly when I was young, but it was not to be. However, I was able to get one recently. I wanted some continuity, but I really didn't want too much responsibility. After researching, I decided to lease a horse, and share the lease with someone else. Its really better for the Mariah, the horse, and easier for me. I have as much as I want and she gets plenty of exercise and the leasors take care of all the work! When I went to the beach to ride, they hooked me up with someone who let me rent the right horse for me!2. Years ago at the church I belonged to I participated in two groups. The first was working with the Wednesday night youth group, the second was "Blessings of Life", where we ministered to Death Row inmates.
Since there were so many of us doing both, we got the kids to write occasional letters to inmates. Some of them took it further and actually started regular correspondence as well as visiting. I started to make a documentary about this, but it was woefully under funded, so I had to stop. Not bad, really because I had the film when they were young, and now, of them and their parents talking about how it has affected their lives.
3. I always had a dream of building just the right house and I wanted it green. I wanted solar panels, heated and cooled floors and all the other green things. I had a plan that was perfect, except that it didn't have a nice loft. I added that as my meditation space.
It had its glitches, but I managed to stay cool and have fun doing it. It has an outside garden courtyard and well, its wonderful!

I Have Traveled To:
1. I have traveled to Colombia and Peru. My daughter says it is wonderful and it was!
2. I have traveled (first class with flier points) to Australia and New Zealand, doing a walking tour in each country and then a visited Melbourne and Aukland.
3. I have cruised to both Antarctica and Alaska, spent time with the penguins and hiked in the wilds of Alaska
Traveling and Adventure Are One of the Reasons to Be Here
I love reading books at the place about which it was written. It was a thrill to read The Piano on this beach where she came to New Zealand, having to walk from the boat to the shore.1. My daughter has a second family who hails from Columbia, she and Joe have traveled there a lot and she says she prefers it to Europe. Well that convinced me. I decided to plan a trip to Bogota and then to see Peru. I wasn't sure about climbing Matchupechu or taking the bus as it is quite a climb. I researched and found a trip that combined walking and riding! It was great!
2. I had always wanted to go to Australia and New Zealand. I have a friend from New Zealand who came to a seminar in Chapel Hill that happened on four weekends over the winter. I like to travel, but seemed crazy to me! It was for EFT training, but still... so I decided to see both island countries at the same time! I saved frequent miles to go first class (it is an almost 24 hour trip!) and that was a great decision. It was a little difficult to coordinate the walking tours in both countries, but I am glad that I did.
3. This was actually two trips, but since both were cruises to frigid places, I thought that would be best, rough it by day and luxury at night! Wow, this was unforgettable.
I have also done a lot with the photos I took, and have expanded my native photography talents to quite a portfolio.

- Marvelous... Congratulations on "living the dream" with your magnificent business accomplishments, integrating a "pay it forward" mindset into your activities and mapping out your future with a bucket list. You have inspired me to renew my pledge to make mine at 64 (is that the new 44?) I didn't see the movie, but the idea captured my imagination when I heard of it. I went "down under" and to South Africa in the past three years in the economy seats!! Although the trips were worth every discomfort experienced, you made a great decision to go 1st class! 5*, favored and lensrolled. Yeah... I'm gonna do it!

My Bio

For Arrowsmith Printing 9/22/08
I was born into a small business, I believe that small business and entrepreneurs are the backbone of America and what has made us great. They are what made us great and will save us in these unsure times. I have never wanted to have a great job. Well, better a great one, than a boring dead end one, and I have had both. But I have never really wanted a job at all.
Don't get me wrong, I am a hard worker. I have worked a full-time job, a part time job and a private practice all at the same time for a lot of years in my past. It isn't the work, its the working for someone else. Never wanted to do that, and I don't understand those who want to do that.
When I was six months old my parents bought their first small town weekly newspaper in Iowa. This was back in the day, back when small town newspapers were not just advertising sheets. Perhaps there are still some of them that are real, I hope so.
So I came by this perverse nature naturally. My path to self employment has been different than theirs, but it has always been my path, my direction.
Growing up in Iowa, in the fifties, I also grew up politically conservative. By the time I was 30 I was radically left. Today? I am proudly liberal and what that means will be clearer as we progress.
However, I have had conflicts about 'taking advantage of people'. I now know that employing people is not automatically taking advantage of them, but it took a while for me to learn that nothing is intrinsically good or bad. Well, almost nothing.
I have educated myself in business, I have a small business and I have used EFT and other energy clearing methods to help me clarify the old conflicts and move forward.
My mission here is to provide a forum for people who want to work independently through one person businesses or through employing others and for whom the betterment of human kind is an important value. My lenses are about offering good products, teaching people about betting their lives, and using the money they make for their pleasure and the benefit of others.
That is how I see business and if you have a similar vision I invite you to my blog www.creatingbusinessenergy.com
