Marian Rivera started with a biscuit commercial. Nobody noticed this young and beautiful newcomer and never gave a damn. Then came the break. Marian auditioned for the title role of the Philippine remake of Marimar, a famous Mexicanovela which stirred the airwaves of Phillippine TV during it's airtime.
Marian rose to the charts very quickly and made a name for herself. She became a household name since then. In fact, her next fantaserye titled "Dyesebel" made it to the number 1 spot of the TV ratings for its whole duration.
Dingdong Dantes was her leading man in both of the shows mentioned above. They also ventured into the big screen and their "One True Love" film made it to the box office records.
Marian and Dingdong is now in their third partnership in Tv with "Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang" which is also making waves to the Filipino audience.
