Marina Sirtis - plays Counselor Deanna Troi on Star Trek: The Next Generation
Marina Sirtis is famous for playing Counselor Troi on Star Trek: TNG. I always liked her character because she is part Betazoid and can read minds and was always giving advice to Captain Picard. Counselor Troi was involved in a few romances on the Enterprise including First Officer William T. Riker and Worf the Klingon. In addition to Star Trek: TNG, she was also on a few episodes of Star Trek: Voyager and the Enterprise finale.
Other than Star Trek, she was a voice in the cartoon Gargoyles, made an appearance in Stargate: SG1, and has an IMDB list with several other roles I am not familiar with.

My favorite Marina Sirtis role is Deanna Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation. As an empath, she could read minds and advise Captain Picard accordingly. I would love to own all of the Next Generation DVDS, but wonder if I should wait for Star Trek TNG to come out on HD DVD.

The only thing I could find about Star Trek TNG being on HD DVD was this.
And it doesn't say much other than there's a rumor about a future release of Star Trek TNG on HD and Blu-ray, but Paramount isn't talking.

Marina Sirtis was the voice of the villain Demona in the cartoon Gargoyles. She did an awesome job and I enjoyed the cartoon and voice acting by Sirtis and other actors from Star Trek: TNG.
