Mario Super Sluggers hits a home run

Mario Super Sluggers ("Super Mario Stadium Family Baseball" in Japan) is a sports video game for the Wii developed by Namco Bandai and published by Nintendo. It is part of the Mario Sports series, and the sequel to Mario Superstar Baseball for the Nintendo GameCube.

Mario's back and he's had it with saving princesses. Now it's all about saving the majestic Baseball Kingdom from the evil clutches of Bowser Jr. and co. But Mario can't do it alone...well, not at first anyway. It's up to you to guide him through the bowels of the kingdom and recruit its inhabitants to form your very own baseball team so you can tackle the toddler tyrant once and for all! (read more)

Apparently, all characters will return from Mario Superstar Baseball, and there will be a total of 42 playable characters. It doesn't take that long to finish Challenge mode, which is how to unlock everybody. You can probably finish challenge mode within the first day that you get the game. Most of the challenges are pretty easy.

Is there a demo for Mario Super Sluggers from the Nintendo channel?
No, there will be no wii demos. Currently, you can only download DS demos, watch videos about Nintendo stuff, and look up Wii / Nintendo DS games and buy them. The wii system memory is too small.
Is MSS coming out on nintendo ds?
No, it's currently a Wii only title.
Where can I get mario super sluggers cards?
These online baseball cards can be found on a variety of Web sites (nick.com, cartoonnetwork.com, 4kids.tv) and collected by users on a special album site. Pairing some players together creates a "Double Play" that unlocks bonuses like game videos and screensavers.

Got this game this morning and me and my 8 year old son are having a blast. It's fun for all ages. I love the controls, amazing multiplayer action, and good replayability. The only downside I noticed was that the mini-games are sort of lame. But it's still definitely worth the purchase.

I love Tiny Kong! I think that DK characters add more variety to the same old Mario crew. Now we need Candy Kong, Pauline, Wart, Tatanga and possibly even some Wario Ware characters in the next Mario spin off game!
