Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games

In Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games players choose their favorite characters and enter them into events from the upcoming Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada.

The game features multiple play modes, both single player and multi-player. Within these games, players can choose to enter individual events or compete for all the events in the Olympiad. Olympic events are not all players can participate in, they can also participate in winter-themed mini-games.

Because of the large number of snow and ice sporting events in the Winter Olympics, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games uses the Wii Balance Board extensively. However, use of the balance board is not mandatory for play.
