There is only a very few skin care products that I recommend. So when I find something that works I instantly tell my friends and family. Especially when it's another fabulous skin care product by Mario Badescu.

There's a running joke amongst my friends that I'm like a lab rat because I try so many different skin card products. But it's all good! After all how else am I going to write my articles and reviews on skin care products if I don't try it out first right? I'd knew you.

Anyways here is my Mario Badescu Drying Lotion review. This is one such product that I use and tell my friends they have to try. I've been raving about this to so many people about how effective this drying lotion is that they hate me. But, hey it really does works, what else can I say.

Their best selling Pimple Healer, Drying Lotion is an excellent Acne spot treatment made with a blend of Calamine and Salicylic Acid to clear up and soothe unsightly whiteheads overnight. A dab of this lotion will heal and dry pimples quickly.

I started using Mario Badescu's products after I saw Mischa Barton shopping in their NYC Salon/Spa. Matter of fact there are a whole lot of super beautiful celebs such as Jennifer Aniston, Liv Tyler, Heidi Klum and much more who uses Mario's products. Even Oprah uses their products!

Here's my personal review and experience

Full Ingredients: Isopropyl Alcohol, Deionized Water (Aqua), Calamine, Camphor, Colloidal Sulfur, Salicylic Acid, Glycerine, Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Talc.

During my nightly ritual I check my face to see if there are any signs of acne forming. If I do then I take out my trusty Drying Lotion. Once I finish applying it I could feel a slight tingling drying sensation. Not to the point that it's irritating like some other brands. Because it is quite soothing once I apply it on. That's because the calamine added to this lotion is working its magic.

When I wake up in the morning I can see that it has successfully stopped an acne from growing. Now I'm not saying this is a cure all for acne. Because there is no such thing. I just want to make that clear. The Drying Lotion is an effective preventative means of clearing your acne or stop it from going crazy and ruining our lives. This is so far the best drying lotion I've ever used. Kind of pricey though. But it worked for me so I guess it's worth it since my acne is so bad.

Really excellent information and useful information. I tried many different drying lotions and MB's lotion worked really well. Though it smells kind of funky to me, but thats just me =)

I've had the same problem for mosty my life, bad super bad oily skin. Just like all the other drying lotions this one from Mario Badescu is not a miracle product. But I have to admit it still works the best out of the dozens I've used in the past.

I find that the drying lotion works well when I use it with buffering lotion and vitamin c serum and I think everyone has to find their own unique combination. Overall I'm very satisfied with these skin care products and will continue using them until there's something new.

I've been using Mario's drying lotion for 5 weeks. My oily skin is bad and it for 3 weeks I and I saw little results. My friend told me to keep sticking with the drying lotion because I was about to quit. After the 5th week I finally saw better improvement. I know my acne problem is severe but so far this dryin lotion is working better than the more well known expensive products. I am totally happy with this.
