Mari Windsor Pilates Training Routines

You can join a class that uses Windsor Pilates methods or you can follow a training guide on one of several DVD's.

Mari Winsor Provides Pilates Training 

Mari Winsor, a dancer and choreographer, developed her techniques based on Pilates teachings. She believes that the Pilates exercises should be performed in a specific sequence and at a certain pace. Mari Winsor Pilates, like all the other Pilates theories, is meant to help you to become more flexible, while lengthening and strengthening your muscles.

Although Winsor Pilates method does not require equipment. If you choose to go beyond mat exercises, it typically uses a Windsor Pilates machine called the Pilates reformer. In Winsor Pilates you can expect 4 or 5 different levels. With each level of advancement, you will have to increase the resistance. The Reformer is the best way to do this. Pilates is not a cardio-vascular type of exercise, so if you want to improve your fitness level for your heart you will need to include some other type of aerobic workout with Pilates. Many of the DVD workouts suggest at least three workouts a week for 20 minutes, but Winsor Pilates is safe enough to use everyday if you so choose.

Using a Pilates ring or Pilates circle also gives you another option for total body Pilates workouts. Some television commercials have advertised a new Winsor Pilates Circle workout program. This program says it will "enhance the benefits and transform your body." With its fast-paced, fun Winsor Pilates Sculpting Circle program, the company promises a fat-burning program that works. You'll have fun as you develop the long, lean muscles and beautiful flat abs that everyone wants. The program is meant to be used three times a week for 20 minutes each workout. Mari Winsor developed this particular workout to target your whole body instead of trying to spot train just certain areas. Even beginners will be able to complete this workout and start developing that hot body they are looking for.

If you choose Mari Winsor Pilates, no matter which DVD workout or class that you choose, you will be in good company. Many stars use this method to keep their star quality physiques. In her studio, which was founded in 1990, she and her staff provide one-on-one training to several celebrities as well as average clients. Her classes are quite affordable with group mat classes running $15 per class. Private sessions, over course, cost more at $45 per session. However, if you can't afford to take a trip to New York for classes with Mari Winsor, you can find her workout guides and DVD's in stores and online to start burning that fat and training your body to be more flexible and strong.
