Season 12 of Dancing With the Stars saw professional dancer Mark Ballas partnering Disney actress, Chelsea Kane (aka Chelsea Staub), eventually securing third place.
Each week, the pair danced for the best judges points and the most public votes. All of the action began on March 21, 2011 on ABC.

Mark Ballas and Chelsea Kane
Mark Ballas has been with Dancing With the Stars since Season 5 when he was partnered with Sabrina Bryan of the Cheetah Girls. Since then, he has won the coveted mirror ball twice, firstly with figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi and then with gymnast Shawn Johnson. In between times, he has partnered Kim Kardashian, Melissa Joan Hart, Shannen Doherty and most recently, Bristol Palin.
Chelsea Kane, also known as Chelsea Staub, is primarily known as an actress in various roles on the Disney Channel. She first came to public notice in the film Bratz: The Movie, since when her time has been occupied with such Disney projects as Starstruck, Minutemen, Jonas L.A. and Fish Hooks.

- I love dance and would definitely enjoy watching Dancing with the Stars if they only would keep off of that fake suspense all the time, that is something I definitely dislike, whether in Dancing with the Stars or the Chef shows. It's not necessary and turns those rare excellent shows into silly and common ones. Other than that, when there's nothing else on TV on Saturday eve, I watch that Dance with the Stars on French channel (TF1).
