Magalog 3

So excited about the new mark. fragrance launch: Rebel Rose, a combo of cutting edge and timeless sophistication of the classic rose scent. Its a reinvented classic rose with a modern twist. Playful with a bit of edge and attitude. Notes: spicy pink pepper, hot pink rose.

Rebel Rose is based on Meg and Dia, an up and coming rock band. 2 young sisters, making their mark. Their image is exactly "rebel rose" - feminine, trendy, edgy. Check out the website . mark. artist Jamie Greenberg used Rebel Rose palette on Katrina Bowden (receptionist on 30 Rock) at the SAG awards.

The "stay tuned tunic" is a great, simple tunic dress made of lightweight, washable jersey. Dress length with short sleeves and a tie at the waist makes this fit very flattering. Black or Deep magenta (HOT!!). Great for day or evening!

As for jewelry, you gotta try the chain link gypsy hoops and the Cuff Couture bracelet. Jewelry items are great way to incorporate floral trend without looking like you are wearing your grandmother's drapes. The Rock On Ring = awesome and very classic. Britt Bardo loves it, gave it to all of her friends with glossblossom for Christmas. And for us bag ladies (lol!) there's the Slouchy Satchel. Not too big, not too small and available in pewter or black, so it goes with everything.

About Me 

Because you're just dying to know, right?

To start with, I am a self-proclaimed Clinique convert. There hasn't been a single thing yet that I haven't been able to replace with one of mark.'s fun (and far more affordable) products. My newest switch is from the Clinique Acne Solutions line to mark.'s That's Deep Purifying Gel Cleanser and Matte Chance Mattifying Lotion. They do the job just as well and cost about 25% less! (See Dare to Compare below!)

I am also big on huge handbags. Lately I've been toting the Quilted Frame Of Mind Tote (which is actually in Last Chance right now, get it before its gone!). I'm not gonna lie, I beat up my bags, which is why I refuse to spend big bucks for big bags. mark. is perfect for that: cute, fun, durable, AND won't break the bank.

Aside from my obsession with skincare and large handbags, I love sports, especially football (Go Steelers!). I play on the women's lacrosse team at school so I know how to work hard. Even better, I know how to party hard, and the mark. makeup I use has no problem keeping up. I love mark. hookups because they go anywhere and don't take up a ton of space. Since another addiction of mine is traveling (that's me hiking the Swiss Alps), it helps to be able to pack light.

Magalog 2 starts on February 3rd, so get ready for some great new things in this one. Since I am a total purse junkie, I am obviously loving the Reverse Purse: 1 bag, 4 looks. That will sure clear up alot of closet space for me! Inside magalog 2, you'll also find profiles of the mark. expert makeup artists plus their favorite products, and tips on how to get the look you'll love.

kits: Tokyo and Los Angeles. If you haven't tried the Flip For It kits yet, you are seriously missing out. One small compact contains eyeshadows, lip colors and glosses, and blush. Aside from liner and mascara, this kit is your one stop shop to fabulousness.

Dare to Compare! 

Clinique Acne Solutions

Instead of spending $40 or more for Clinique's face wash, toner, and lotion set (I was using the Emergency Gel too), try substituting mark. That's Deep Purifying Gel Cleanser, Matte Chance Mattifying Lotion, and Get Clearance Anti-Acne Hookup. These three products do the job just as well, but they smell way better and only cost $30. They are all fragrance- and oil-free so you know they won't aggravate problem areas

Occasionally, I need a scrub as well. Right now, I'm using Neutrogena's Pink Grapefruit Oil-Free Acne Scrub, but once that runs out, I'm probably going to switch to the Berry Grand exfoliator. That way, I can keep using That's Deep everyday, and just add in some exfoliating cranberry and pomegranate seeds when I need them.
