Successful Social Marketing Campaigns
Lately there is a lot of talk about Web 2.0 and even Web 3.0. The question still comes up "What is web 2.0 and how can I use it in successful social marketing campaigns?". People ask "Is viral marketing and social marketing the same thing?" and here we will answer these questions. Now with web 3.0 we are taking social media marketing to a new level.
Examples of Social Marketing Campaigns
Social Marketing Planning
Finding an ad agency that understands the importance of marketing via social networking is critical to your success with your Web 2.0 social networking. Using social media as a marketing tool is no longer a concept to be tested it is now an accepted fact. Web 2.0 in ecommerce is very effective. Web 2.0 social networking also helps with off-line sales. Successful Social Marketing Examples
Viral Marketing
Below you will see a video which is an example of how our advertising agency uses marketing via social networking to help our own business.
Now you may wonder if we can get away with this because we are an ad agency and therefore expected to be creative and funny. Can YOUR business use social marketing in this way? Let's look at two more examples of BIG corporations that are marketing using social networking.
If you go to Yahoo or Google and search for "Reebok Tate Linebacker" you'll find some very funny videos.
While you are laughing at the videos consider what USA Today had to say when they wrote this:
"Since Tate's debut in a 60-second ad during the Super Bowl Jan. 26, Reebok says about 1.9 million consumers have visited its Web site and 1.6 million have downloaded the first of Tate's four Web films. It says visits to the online store have quadrupled."
Still wondering if using social media as a marketing tool is right for you? Let's look at another example, a high end car manufacturer. Go to Yahoo or Google and search for "Madonna BMW" and you'll see a few videos that are each several minutes long. What you notice here is that in this viral marketing campaign they are doing things that BMW would NEVER do on TV.

"The buzz started slowly with the first film but grew to avalanche proportions by the time Madonna's short comedy film about a cranky diva was released, overwhelming BMW's expectations and forcing the automaker to add servers as fast as it could. After one year, the number of viewers who had visited BMW's Web site to download The Hire shot to over 21 million, and with three more films added in 2002, it rocketed to 100 million, sparking a Harvard Business School case study. One million enthusiasts ordered a DVD with all eight films."
If this is beginning to look more interesting and you can see marketing via social networking as an option for your company; just look at one more thing. First of all you found this page and you are reading things about our advertising agency not some other ad agency. As a result of social network marketing or social media marketing you are not the only one reading about our advertising agency. Please go to Yahoo or Google one more time do a search for "full service advertising agency" and see if you find Ad Excellence right up there near the top of the list! Think about what we accomplished for a moment please. Without stating "Florida" in your search or "Hollywood" in your search you still found us at the top of the search results. This is why most of our clients find us rather than us working so hard to find them! Consequently we have clients not only in Hollywood and the surrounding South Florida area where our ad agency is located but we also have clients from around the country and around the world.

This is a video from an actual client of ours. She was able to cancel an expensive lead generation service that she would have been paying for the rest of her life. Now she has no need for that service and never will again after just a three month Internet marketing program with us.

- When you fail to mint impressive ROI with social media, perhaps you didn't plan the entire campaign the way it should have been. Social media is certainly exciting but is still a marketing channel that needs to be planned and where a framework is imperative.
