Introduction

Last year, I signed up for MySpace but wasn't too interested in what I encountered there.

A couple of months ago, however, I took another look and saw possibilities for marketing without being obnoxious and intrusive.

As a social networking site, I'm sure business and advertising is not high on the list of interests for the great majority of members, but there is an ever-growing number of people who are interested in business and marketing.

The ability to write to your blog, join or create groups, and easily keep in touch with friends and associates makes MySpace very attractive.

There are things to watch out for, also. As with most popular sites, there are people who don't play nice in the sandbox and will bother and cause harm to other members.

I don't understand this mindset, but I know these people exist.

I have found a very interesting and supportive group of people there and look forward to meeting more MySpace friends.

John Dilbeck on MySpace

I created my profile on MySpace and I'm starting to find my way around the site.

There is more to do there than I'll ever have time or energy to accomplish.

So, I've narrowed my interests to meeting new people and looking for opportunities for us to help each other market our businesses and sites.

Come on over and visit John Dilbeck's profile on MySpace. Join in the fun.
