Ever been in debt? Ever wondered how reasonably intelligent people get in the shit by using the one thing that they know will bite them in the arse?

I'm talking about those alluring and seemingly innocent credit cards that are sooo easy to come bye these days. These plastic nooses are given out like joints at a Rolling Stones reunion. And I have to say I have two.

No I wasn't satisfied with one.

So how does one get into trouble with two cards then. Let me tell you my pathetic story, as a guide to what not to do okay?

Oh and my other BIG mistake in this life was to join a network marketing company. Ever heard of those? Ever been tempted to investigate? DON'T okay, it's not worth it.

I think you are starting to get the picture. Credit card + Network Marketing = in the shit. 

It's one of those frog in the hot water stories. Where the frog is placed into a container of water that slowly starts to boil. Eventually the frog dies because the water takes a slow rise to boiling point and the poor frog doesn't feel the change until it's too late. Of course if you tried to put the frog into hot water it would just jump out immediately.

Now this is how Network Marketing operates. Firstly placing you into their organization (cool water) and slowly involving you step by step until you are indoctrinated and committed (hot water). Over a period of time you will be sucked dry by this money vacuum.

That brings me to INTERNET Marketing. So what is the difference between Network and Internet marketing?

Not much really if you look at it from a financial standpoint. Both are money sucking vacuum's with the main difference being that internet marketing is a solitary existence whereas network marketing has (smirk) support structures.

Wait a minute, aren't there support structures out there for internet marketers? Places like the StomperNet portal and Perry Marshall's offering. Heard of those? The price of entry is enough to max credit cards pretty quick.

And guess who needs the help more than anyone? The same people who HAVE to use a credit card to try and get that support and guidance. What a bind. And that's where those beautifully written sales pages come into play, mesmerizing you into the false belief that someone out there really cares for the underdog, the battler, the normal person trying to get ahead.

Do I sound bitter? Probably. But you know something I don't give a rats arse if you think so. It IS how I feel.

 There are many many sharks out there so watch out. Any I'd like to mention? How about Andy Jenkins and his partner Brad Fallon of StomperNet fame. Let's just say that if you are thinking of joining that particular crew you better have deeep pockets.

Now having said all this my situation was of course my doing, nobody held a gun to my head and forced me to comply. But. Let it serve as warning to any budding entrepenur out there. If it doesn't come with a money back gaurantee don't go anywhere near it.

So is there light in all this negativity? Maybe just naybe. There is someone who is SAYING all the right things but has still to deliver. Who has offered to guide and advise us wannabees for the grand totlal of 0. That's right, he has offered to put together an internet marketing portal and support system that hopefully will wipe these money grubbing so called gurus off the radar.

It's about time that's all I can say.
