The benefits of a membership site is that its like the magazines that you keep buying. See,when you subscribe to a magazine, you do it because it either entertains you or provides information which you find useful.

And you keep buying it month after month,because you are interested in the topic and find it worth your money.

The main advantage that this business model has is that it provides you with residual income.Just like people keep buying magazines,they would keep paying for the memberships month after month.

There are quite a few sites that charge as low as 10 dollars a month or even 5 dollars a month and make thousands per month. This is because there are so many people interested in those topics who are ready to pay 5, 10 or even 20 dollars month after month.

All you need to do is keep them happy and provide them good useful information.

There are quite a few problems that people come up with. Some of these problems are:

Another good business model to follow is the google adsense model.

A very simple overview is that you let google put ads on your site and google pays you for each click that your site gets.

Some people make hundreds of sites and just concentrate on earning a dollar a day from each site. It turns out to be hundreds of dollars a day.

On the other hand there are other people who concentrate on one site and make it earn a 1000 dollars a day although it is really tough.

Most of the people just find it easier to make 1 dollar from each site( and make hundreds of them) rather than making 1000 dollars from one site.

What I think is that you really need to have an authority type of site to earn a 1000 dollars a day from it. Even I prefer to make lots of sites which make a dollar a day,because I really get bored working on just one site and its easier for most of the folks too.

The point is to target a group of people who are desperately looking for a solution to their problems or desperately need a product.

Your target could be people who want to lose weight, you could get more specific i.e. by targeting people who want to lose weight before their wedding.

So,in this case your niche market is people who are getting ready for their wedding and want to get in shape before they say the words " I do " .

The advantages of niche affiliate marketing are:
You reduce your competition. Most of the people just target weight loss in general. These could include people who want to lose weight for fear of heart disease, those who want to lose their body fat and show off their six pack abs,etc...
The point is that there are many different types of people who want to lose weight for different reasons and need different products.

You really cant sell the same product to all of them. This is where niche marketing helps , target a group of people, understand them properly.Find out what they want and then give it to them.
