How And Where To Market Your Vintage Clothing Business For Little To No Money

I am going to share with you my valuable secrets and know-how to market your small vintage clothing business online for free or very little money

I have based these findings on actual traffic to my website. Each is important and they are placed in the exact order in which my Google Analytics page has shown me traffic for the past 6 months

Read it and weep! No one else in the world would share this with you! ENJOY

Have A Website, Blog, Store or Squidoo Page You Want To Promote? Add Your Link Here!

Use A Sitemap

If you don't have your own website, this will not work for you, but if you do, I cannot stress enough the importance of using a sitemap.

I put my sitemap in place and submitted it to Google and Yahoo and it boosted my traffic to INSANE levels.

My sitemap creator cost $40, but it is highly worth it. I recommend and use the Inspyder Sitemap Creator

Submit To Search Engines

This is the brainless one. You must submit to search engines or they will take their sweet time finding you!

Having trouble finding the links?

Submit to GOOGLE

Submit to YAHOO

Don't EVER fall for those "submit your site to 100 search engines" deals. They didn't help one bit!

As far as adwords go, it never really helped me out. Why pay for something that doesn't bring you oodles of traffic?

Squidoo

Squidoo has been a big traffic booster, and the fact that it is free...well...HELLO!

As you well know, I have built many Squidoo pages, however I just started with ONE. It proved itself to me so now I am going CRAZY building pages..and why not?

Market your Squidoo page as if it is your website and you will get killer results!

MySpace

MySpace was my first BIG traffic boost. Once I started my page I got marketing crazy and discovered all of the other stuff!

My secrets to MySpace are simple..

1. Keep personal and business separate

2. Only add friends with interested parties, not just anyone

3. Send out a bulletin DAILY or even several a day with actual photos of items and clickable links. No one wants to copy and paste a URL

4. Join ALL like minded groups and post a the same bulletin at least once a week..but don't overdo!

5. Make your page fun and interesting and post relevant and fun blogs...search engines crawl these!

6. Post an interesting comment to each friend once a month. YES it is time consuming but well worth the effort! Even a clickable logo will do. Don't waste time with "Have A Nice Weekend" and things like that.

Stumbleupon

Stumbleupon is not a HUGE traffic boost, but it is SOME.

It is worth taking a moment to submit every URL you have! Make sure you log in and take some time "stumbling". I notice that I get a traffic boost when I do!

Hoobly

Market your vintage clothing business on Hoobly.com. It is a Google MACHINE! Excellent choice for local marketing for a store or anything else!

The best kept search engine launch secret on the internet. I was REALLY hesitant to share :)

thethriftshopper.com

This site has brought me considerable traffic! It costs $3.00 a month, and I have proven that it brings me great traffic!

An EXCELLENT low cost advertising option! Visit now!

Join Webrings

Web Rings do not bring a whole lot of traffic, however they do bring enough to make it worthwhile to spend a few minutes and join them!

Click below to search for web rings and join!

Last But Not At All Least...Link Exchanges

Link exchanges are important, however a lot of webmasters think they can rely on this alone...NADA!

Exchange with EVERYONE!

It takes a lot of emailing..but another one that is worth the time!
