Rep. Mark Meadows apparently thinks the government over parents is better at raising children.  Rep. Mark Meadows did not sign on as a sponsor to a resolution that has 80 sponsors within the Michigan House!  What is wrong with this resolution Rep. Mark Meadows?

A joint resolution proposing an amendment to the state
constitution of 1963, by adding section 27 to article I, to declare
the fundamental right of parents and legal guardians to direct the
care, upbringing, and education of their children.
Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
state of Michigan, That the following amendment to the state
constitution of 1963, to declare the fundamental right of parents
and legal guardians to direct the care, upbringing, and education
of their children, is proposed, agreed to, and submitted to the
people of the state:
ARTICLE I
SEC. 27. PARENTS AND LEGAL GUARDIANS HAVE A NATURAL AND
FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO DIRECT THE CARE, EDUCATION, 1 AND UPBRINGING OF
THEIR CHILDREN. NO GOVERNMENT ACTION SHALL BURDEN, ABRIDGE, OR
HINDER THIS NATURAL, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT UNLESS IT IS IN FURTHERANCE
OF A COMPELLING GOVERNMENTAL INTEREST AND IS THE LEAST RESTRICTIVE
MEANS OF FURTHERING THAT COMPELLING GOVERNMENTAL INTEREST.
Resolved further, That the foregoing amendment shall be
submitted to the people of the state at the next general election
in the manner provided by law.

Why does Rep. Mark S. Meadows, Michigan House District 069 of Ingham County, not support Michigan families, parents and children?

Representative Mark S. Meadows has not been able to move Michigan House Bill 4564 out of the judiciary committee in which he sits on!   Shared Parenting bills, such as Michigan House Bill 4564, have been shown to REDUCE the divorce rates:

Representative Mark S. Meadows, Michigan House District 069 of Ingham County, is apparently for the high divorce rates of families in Michigan.

Shared Parenting (Michigan House Bill 4564) has been shown to be better for children.

So does Representative Mark S. Meadows support the continued abuse of our children?

Will Representative Mark S. Meadows support Michigan families or the rich family law lobby of Michigan? Is Rep. Mark Meadows truly serving the people of his district or helping out the political establishment and the lobby groups that line their pockets?
