Mark Schauer For Bigger Government and More Tax Increases on Michigan Families

Mark Schauer will lie to your face and tell you he supports families and children.  Mark Schauer only supports bigger government, higher taxes on the backs of hard working Michigan workers and greater government intrusion into Michigan families.  Mark Schauer thinks that government, not parents, is better at making decisions for your children. 

Would you really trust someone who does not trust parents?  Would you really trust someone who supports one of the fit and willing parents after divorce only receiving 4-6 days a month to parent their child/ren?

Mark Schauer does not support a child's fundamental right to tbe loved, guided, educated and nurtured equally by both fit and willing parents after divorce.  To deny this is wrong.  To deny this is child abuse. Does Mark Schauer support child abuse?   Mark Schauer does not support Michigan House Bill 4564, a very popular shared parenting bill.

Mark Schauer does not believe that parents should have certasin rights before government intrusion into YOUR family's home. In fact, Mark Schauer does NOT support Michigan House Joint Resolution NN (2008) which is a parental rights bill to protect families against abusive government intrusion. 80 Michigan House Representatives signed on as SPONSORS of Michigan House Joint Resolution NN.  In fact, 29 out of 59 House Democrats signed on as sponsors of Michigan House Joint Resolution NN (2008)

WHAT IS WRONG WITH MICHIGAN HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NN MARK SCHAUER?

This would be an amendment to the Michigan constitution!!

A joint resolution proposing an amendment to the state
constitution of 1963, by adding section 27 to article I, to declare
the fundamental right of parents and legal guardians to direct the
care, upbringing, and education of their children.

(HOW IS THIS BAD MARK SCHAUER?)

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
state of Michigan, That the following amendment to the state
constitution of 1963, to declare the fundamental right of parents
and legal guardians to direct the care, upbringing, and education
of their children, is proposed, agreed to, and submitted to the
people of the state:

ARTICLE I
SEC. 27. PARENTS AND LEGAL GUARDIANS HAVE A NATURAL AND
FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT TO DIRECT THE CARE, EDUCATION, 1 AND UPBRINGING OF
THEIR CHILDREN. NO GOVERNMENT ACTION SHALL BURDEN, ABRIDGE, OR
HINDER THIS NATURAL, FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT UNLESS IT IS IN FURTHERANCE
OF A COMPELLING GOVERNMENTAL INTEREST AND IS THE LEAST RESTRICTIVE
MEANS OF FURTHERING THAT COMPELLING GOVERNMENTAL INTEREST.

Resolved further, That the foregoing amendment shall be
submitted to the people of the state at the next general election
in the manner provided by law.

Mark Schauer lied to his party, his caucus and his constituents in his on the record statement when he promised that he would not seek this elected position until you had served your full term as a Senator. This proves you can not be trusted

Mark Schauer lied on two separate occasions about having polling numbers that does not exist. He even claimed that the DCCC polled for him when they did not. By the way there is no such thing as intern polling for congressional race

Mark Schauer LOVES TO RAISE TAXES ON FAMILIES!  Mark Schauer voted in opposition in every case for refroms that would save hard working Michigan families from having to pay higher taxes?

Mark Schauer is a failed leader even in his own party!  Mark Schauer failed to secure Majority in the Senate in 2006 despite racking up major debt for your party?

Mark Schauer does not bring Democrats and Republicans together and only creates a further divide.  Mark Schauer has opposed family friendly legislation such as Michigan House Bill 4564 and Michigan House Joint Resolution NN (2008)

Mark Schauer
