A Little More About Martha - A Star Is Born
Martha's college degree was in architectural design and history but she trained herself from Julia Child's "Mastering the Art of French Cooking." She then started her own catering business.Within 10 years she had a million dollar business catering to corporations and celebrities. She then expanded her business by writing her first book, called entertaining.

- Martha Stewart presents as art and special what most women her age know how to do and have been doing as long as she - balance work and career, run a home and business, be creative and enjoy the arts and sciences of being a homemaker. She's a highly talented lady and she's got a terrific mind for marketing her ideas and homemaking skills as chic/new/cool - what we take for granted (and do) Martha packages and shares with panache. I admire her creativity, her tenacity and her incredible ability to bounce back from adverse situations and keep on smiling. I also really like her entertaining and decorating ideas and generosity. She's a boomer homemaking rock star!

- Not bad for a start...You need a better opening line than "Martha Stewart was born..." though. On one of my lenses, I put the birthdate for L. Frank Baum in one of my subtitles so I could just jump right into the subject in the main text. You can pretend like you were trying to sell Martha Stewart products on TV and start out with some fun facts about her. Tell us a story about some obstacle she had to overcome to succeed; maybe you could also give the details about that time she went to jail and why.
