Decorating For Halloween á la Martha Stewart: it is a good thing:

BOO!!

Martha Stewart can be scary; we all know that. But did you know that she shares her excellent and scary (or not) Halloween ideas on the web?

Below you will find what I think are the best of Martha's seasonal Halloween sites on the world wide web.

Have a good time. That is a good thing, isn't it?

Martha's "Halloween Central"

Scary Halloween Tree SilouetteGet ready for Halloween by browsing Martha Stewart's Halloween Central. There are at least 59 really good ideas here--including some free templates for carving a pumpkin! I love the "Startled Pumpkin" template, my self. It is easy! Here is a quick link to a Pumpkin Faces pdf with 6 pages of jackolantern faces for you to download.

I love the classy and tasteful ideas Martha has. Of course, being "tacky" for October 31st is not a bad thing, it is just not "a good thing".

Get the "how-to" for a stair case silhouette from Martha by clicking here.
Idea one of at least 59!

I think the silhouette of the tree would be a spooky "Martha-ish" Halloween pattern.

Homemade Costumes for the Whole Family!

Martha's staff has some really good Halloween Costume Ideas:

Coffee Filter DressingSure, some of Martha's Ideas are just too time consuming for me, but I must admit that I love Martha's "coffee filters" idea! What am I talking about?

Well, just click Halloween Costumes for the Whole Family to view all of the creations for Halloween Costumes.

Here is Martha Stewart's "no-sew how to" for using coffee filters for Halloween:

I think that the Spider Egg Sacs is really creepy. I would be weirded out if I ran into one of these Halloween Decorations in the dark. I guess that I would need Martha Stewart to teach me how to cuss with style and grace.

Martha's Halloween is classy. I took to saving her Oct. mag. because of the Halloween ideas. And the pics in her magazine are boo-te-ful. What she does with vegetables is amazing.
