Have you been watching Martha Stewart's TV Show lately and thought those show ideas seemed familiar?
Well, I've been watching Martha Stewart's TV Show for quite some time. And, I've noticed that several of her segments have seemed pretty familiar. Hmmm, can Martha Stewart be reading Squidoo lenses -- MY lenses?
If it's not Martha Stewart herself, it's got to be her staff that are obviously reading Squidoo lenses for ideas to feature on her TV show! Some of you might say it's just a coincidence, but I don't know about that! Maybe Martha Stewart is just on the same wave length as me? Or, better yet ... she and her staff have recognized the topicability of Squidoo lenses? Hey, Monkeybrain, is topicability a word?
Let me show you what I'm talking about ... as you scroll down through this lens, you'll first see the segment(s) from Martha's shows immediately followed up with my lens(es). You be da judge. Compare and judge for yourself ... IS Martha Stewart reading MY lenses?
Read my lens and tell me what YOU think!
Be sure to register your comments at the end ...
This very lens has been cooking for a while; i.e., each day that I do happen to catch the Martha Stewart TV Show, and hear a segment that sounds a wee bit familiar, I've made a mental note.
Well, it was March 14, 2008 when she again discussed FAUX BOIS that I knew I had to MAKE this lens FINALLY! I unfortunately hadn't kept notes along the way to document the segments that related to my already-created lenses, so it meant lots of research. But, Martha is a bit like me [thankfully] ... we're both a bit AR and perfectionists so much so that it usually drives the men in our lives absolutely batty ... she's got a great website with 'documentation' of her previous shows. I spent quite a bit of time researching the previous show archives to assemble this 'somewhat' scientific list.
P.S. TIP for you! If you are lacking for inspiration on Squidoo lens ideas, please take a look at Martha's website and browse the show archives. You'll get plenty of ideas ... but, please DON'T tell Martha I told you to do that and please don't do another lens on polish pierogi as our waistlines can't handle any more of that ethnic comfort food. ;-)

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Is Martha Stewart reading Squidoo lenses for ideas?
Fetching blurbs now... please stand byThe evidence would surely point to YES!
badmsm says:
So what you do is make a REALLY whacky lens (like "washing your hair with cheese"). That will prove your theory for sure! ;)

Yes, I think that she is! I think Martha Stewart should have Julie Jaguar on her television show :)

Hmmm, the evidence seems flimsy at best.
access2 says:
I'm sure the Martha Stewart Living staff draws their inspiration from a number of sources, but the statistical probability of your inference is essentially zero.
