There's no doubt about it - finding martial arts gifts is easy as a quiet stroll in the park. On- or offline you can pick them up all over the place.

Whether it's books, magazines, videos, DVDs, weapons, track suites, uniforms, belts or bags - it can be purchased in close to not time at all. I am pretty sure you can - through the wonders of online shopping - get almost anything sent straight to your door or at least to your nearest post office.

But then there are some obstacles; somehow there always seems to be
a snake in paradise...

One thing that you may not have thought about is the possibility to give away a membership to a martial arts school, club or gym.

I'm not really thinking about a full year or something long term.

Many martial arts schools and clubs have a trial membership for a week, or month (or any limited number of classes), while others have what they might call introductury programs, trial membership - or something along those lines.

"The local school don't have any such programs or gift card options," some people say. Well, if the people there are at all concerned about staying in business, they will be able to make a deal and present you with an introductory "gift letter" or card. Just ask!

A gift for a trial period is a great way to have someone test the waters before jumping in!Naturally, you would need to know something about the school, program, art etc.
