Marvin the Martian - Remember Him?
As a child, there were always some cartoons that were way cooler than the others . . . Marvin the Martian was one of those cartoons. Marvin is one of those cartoon characters that transcends generations and brings laughter to those young and old.
The cartoons pairing Marvin the Martian and Bugs Bunny are especially vivid in my mind. I remember rolling with laughter with my brothers on Saturday mornings watching the cartoons and just loving Marvin the Martian. He was a very cool dude, even back then.
This lens came about because Jeff, a very dear friend, absolutely adores Marvin the Martian. He LOVES Marvin the Martian so much he even named his cat Marvin after the character. Marvin, the cat, was a kitten in need of a home when Jeff found out about him and it's been a match made in heaven for both Jeff and Marvin.

Here's a photo of Marvin the cat (not Marvin the Martian - but named after him) on top of Jeff's table looking at a spider that decided to meet him halfway and say "hi". Can you tell that Marvin is an extremely curious cat? Aren't his stripe and spot patterns striking?
Jeff calls him a "monitor" cat. Hmmm, you're wondering why? Well, Marvin loves looking at the monitor anytime Jeff spends time on his computer and actually lays between the keyboard and the monitor anytime Jeff sits at his computer waiting for the show to start. It is hilarious to watch.
