Marvin Sapp-He Saw The Best in Me

Marvin Sapp's performance of the gospel song "The Best in Me" for a tribute to Steve Harvey at BET's 2010 Celebration of Gospel has made a big impact in gospel music and beyond.

Just like gospel song "Never Would Have Made It", Sapp's new song is poised to become a big hit. The song will be on the album entitled Here I Am which is slated to be released in March 2010. The song was originally recordeded live on October 16, 2009. (video below)

Marvin Sapp has been singing since the age of four, and has shared the stage with many gospel music artists. He describes himself as "not a singer that happens to preach, but a preacher called by God who is gifted to sing". He recorded with the gospel music group Commissioned during the 1990s before beginning a solo career. He is currently the senior pastor of Lighthouse Full Life Center Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
