Mass Effect 3 - The Most Anticipated Action Rpg of 2011

I bid you welcome everyone !!!

If you go around the net or search in Bioware's home page or many gaming forums you will find out that Mass Effect 3 is not only the most anticipated action rpg BUT ALSO the most promising AND anticipated --> GAME <--- of 2011. Ok this is a really bold statement because a lot of great games are coming out in 2011 and if Bioware wants to be professional and trusted they better support their statements. But Bioware is one of the best video game d4evelopers in the world and they have many, many, many talented people in their team. They gave us magnificent games in the past and the players experienced thrilling and unique lifetime experiences through them.

Besides this is why I am putting this lens together because after Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 there is no way they are messing up with Mass Effect 3 .

Don't be shy and leave a comment please.
Let me know you exist and you were here !!!

There are so many questions about Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect 3 action rpg video game - Reaper on a wide screen

Since it is the last part of the Mass Effect Trilogy there are more questions about it than the other two together. After the super intense final mission in Mass Effect 2 and when everyone comes back alive in the ship, unless you ve made poor choices and you lost companions because of them, you get a warm feeling of relaxation and you think that it is finally over.

But is it really over ? Of course not I already knew there was a third part in the game series but even if I didn't the events plus the choices I've made showed me that there was more .... much more !!!

Should Shepard destroy the Collector's (Protheans) mothership or not ? What the Illusive man wants with the ship? Does he really want it to help humanity or he just wants it to fulfill his selfish and arrogant goals ? If he finds secrets and weapons unknown to the Galactic Alliance will he use them to eradicate all the other races and achieve human supremacy or share them with the Alliance as a will of good faith? If Shepard did not give him the mothership would he automatically become his enemy or he would be still his ally? The whole Galactic Alliance had to come together to kill only one Reaper and even then they suffered very heavy losses, they almost lost the war. What would happen if all the Reapers attack at the same time? Will it be the end of all the races in the universe? Where will they attack first?

As you can see there are so many questions and I haven't even asked half of them that I have in my mind .There are a lot to be answered and the script writers better do a hell of a job. Actually they did in mass effect 2 so I do not expect less from them.

Mass Effect 3 New Information Release

Mass Effect 3 Action Rpg

Ok Mass Effect lovers out there I have some new information about the last chapter of the series, Mass Effect 3. Bioware released some new exciting info that if you liked the series as much as I did you will be more than happy.

When it comes to gameplay Mass Effect 3 will be much more refined. It seems they have learned a lesson or two and it seems they listen to the community.

Bioware announced that combat in ME3 will be similar to ME2 with some changes and refinements but no further information is known. The weapons will be no more class restricted, meaning that an engineer will be able to use with the same skill the same weapons a soldier can. If something held me back in choosing and trying some new classes instead of the boring soldier was the weapon restriction. Different barrels and scopes will available for weapon modifying.

The cover system has been greatly improved, so now there is no need for sliding behind an object and then hop over it when you need to continue. Finally, that's all I am going to say.
Moreover the player will be able to roll (rock n roll?) during the combat to avoid fire or enemies. The sprint system has been improved and players will be able to climb on different levels through climbable ladders. So no more...go straight ahead and do nothing else...gameplay.

Mass Effect 3 Action Rpg Video Game

Grenades, which were absent in ME2 are coming back !!! All kinds !!! I missed those babies !!!
Players will enjoy increased accuracy while running and shooting. If you did that in the previous 2 parts you would be...dead meat. Also gamers will be able to blindfire their weapons, but I do not know how this will help us to actually kill something. We ll see how this will work.
In Mass Effect 2 you could fire at certain parts of the body and have a close to reality result. That was most understandable and visible when someone was shooting security Mechs. You could shoot its legs destroy them and then you could see the Mech crawling. Or shoot its weapon arms and cut them off or shoot its head for instant kill. Something similar and more refined will be available in ME3. Players will be able to shoot certain parts of armor and body and get different results.
The melee system has been revised, so now gamers can perform some crazy instant killing punches and kicks. For every class those melee moves will be different.

Be prepared for a higher difficulty level in Mass Effect 3. The last chapter will be the most difficult by default than the rest two chapters. New kinds of enemies will be available for us with the most formidable of them all the Reapers, the huge ass living battleships. That would be a hell of a fight.
Well it was about time for a challenge, because I was sick of the easy stuff even at the highest difficulty settings.

Mass Effect 3 Reapers Attack

In ME2 players could import their characters from ME1 but they had to start playing with Shepard from scratch which it was lame, but understandable due to the different skill system. When players will finish their game, they will be able to continue playing after the main story ends (why would someone wanna do that?) or start over the game-again (???). Ooook good to know.

New homeworlds will be available for visiting or better, available missions will be active on those new worlds. Those homeworlds will be the : Turian, Quarrian and Salarian.
Also the Krogan homeworld that we visited in ME2 will be visited again. Furthermore a human martian mining location will also be available.

Almost all important plot the characters from Mass Effect 2 will return in the final chapter.
I do hope you didnt lose someone of your squadmates during the Suicide Mission because you wont find them in Mass Effect 3. The before battle squadmates selection options will be reduced. Well that sucks, if you ask me, but there will be a greater focus on the relationships with those characters, I hope all this better be good. And lastly James Vega will be the new character in the game (only one?).

Well that was all the new stuff I could find. I hope it wasnt too tiring. And I do hope your excitement got even bigger.

Release Date Of Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect 3 action rpg video game - huge wall posters showing Commander Shepard

Unfortunately the game is still under development. The official release date is on December 31 2011. Which is really disappointing and ridiculous, why they don't just say that they will release it in 2012. It is like they are mocking us . But if this will give them all the time they need to develop an apocalyptic game then somewhat it eases my pain :) .

Endings retroactively ruined the entire series. They are all the same cut scenes and all bad and result in zero replayability. NONE of the choices you make from 1,2 or 3 actually matter. I have no desire to play even 1 or 2 ever again. My hard drive has much more free space.
  • player Mar 8, 2012 @ 6:19 pm | delete
Game sucks. Endings are all horrible. dont buy. taking mine back to gamestop today. waste of money. EA tanked what could have been an epic trilogy.
  • hunter7676 Feb 7, 2012 @ 12:24 pm | delete
You really need to play the first one...although I honestly think ME1 was a lil boring for the first ten hours of gameplay but just playing thaat one game will effect soooo much in the third.

I am not into gaming, however my son is. Now normally when I see a page about a game I just click off since it doesn't really interest me - however I am just blown away by how your page held my attention with its beautiful visuals and how you have written about Mass Effect 3.
I immediately had to show my son & he also was taken back ( and he visits a lot of gaming pages).
You've done an excellent job on your lens & looks like he'll be adding Mass Effect 3 to his 1 & 2.
    Stunning page!

I'm not into action games but I love puzzle games and I can understand the fear-dispair-agony-anxiety of the waiting period before a new release of your favourite game. I love the Antrim Escape 2 puzzle. The graphics look fabulous in Mass Effect 3 and your lens is awsome. I'm sure it took you a long time to do it.
  • SquidooEconomy Apr 10, 2011 @ 9:09 am | delete
fear-despair-agony-anxiety--->actually those are the feelings of the soldier in the trailer.....but i would love to meet a person having those feelings for a game...loool

I hope they will show Tali's face in it! Oh and that Shepard will have lots of badass one-liners like in Mass Effect 2.

not showing talis face really...really pissed off a lot of people man
