The Master Cleanser Diet

It's over 50 years old, but the master cleanser diet is more popular then ever.

Famous people like Beyonce and Robin Quivers from the Howard Stern show have raved about the master cleanser, and the Internet is flooded with unbiased success stories about the diet. But what make the master cleanser so special? How does it work? And is it safe?

All those question will be answered.

The Master Cleanser Diet Was Invented By Stanley Burroughs 

Stanley Burroughs was a pioneer in the natural health field. He realized that a lot of the health problems people faced stemmed from the fact that peoples bodies were polluted with waste, and that in many cases your body had the natural ability to heal itself.

As a result Stanley Burroughs came up with the master cleanser diet.

The simplicity of the master cleanser often leads people to believe it's impossible for it to work. And while the diet is simple (and inexpensive) it can yelled awesome results if you can commit to following it for 10 days.

How To Do The Master Cleanser 

The master cleanser is similar to a fast. But unlike a traditional fast you will be consuming calories, between 600-1000 depending on how much lemonade you drink.

To do the master cleanser all you really need are 4 ingredients, and 3 of them you most likely already have laying around the house.

Master Cleanser Diet Recipe:

* Filtered Water
* Fresh Lemons
* Grade B Maple Syrup
* Cayenne Pepper

A few critical things to keep in mind with regards to the master cleanser ingredients.

First; The water should be filtered or distilled. Tap water and even bottled water contain chlorine and other waste that can nullify the detoxing effects of the master cleanser.

Second; The lemons have to be fresh, and organic. You CAN NOT use concentrated lemon juice for the master cleanse, it just wont work.

Third; You need to make sure the maple syrup you use is Grade B. This might be hard to track down in your area, but it's important that you don't substitute it with ordinary breakfast syrup because Grade B maple syrup goes through a special refinement process that keeps the vital nutrients in the syrup. Other grades of syrup don't have these vitamins and minerals.

If you can't find grade B maple syrup in your area there are many websites that you can order it from.

Here's the recipe for a single 12 ounce serving of lemonade:

12 oz of filtered water (warm)
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons of grade B maple syrup
1/10 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder

You want to drink at least 60 ounces of lemonade a day, but you can drink more if you like.

You should also try to drink around 100 ounces of water a day because it will help flush your system.

Most people who go on the master cleanser diet also find it helps to use a natural laxative. Sea salt and water is the most common laxative used, but it tastes horrible. I recommend a laxative tea which will work just as well, and tastes much better.

The Possible Dangers And Side Effects Of The Master Cleanser 

Even though you are consuming calories when you do the master cleanser it is a restrictive diet, and it can have some negative effects on your body.

It's common to feel light headed and weak when you do the master cleanser. It seems that people who lead unhealthy lifestyles are most affected by the side effects. If you're body has large stores of built up waste you're likely to experience discomfort as the master cleanser goes to work at detoxing your body.

It's also common to pass large amounts of internal waste when you go to the bathroom. There will be a noticeable difference in the waste you pass on the master cleanse compared to your normal eliminations.

Most people describe the waste as a heavy mucus or a black sludge. It's also common to pass Gall stones on the master cleanse.

This is all normal and a sign that the master cleanser is working.
