Stanley Burroughs Master Cleanser Diet

The master cleanser diet was developed in 1941 by Stanley Burroughs, a naturopath hoping to relieve ulcer pain in his patients. Since that time, the diet has become popularized by those wishing to lose weight quickly.

 

In the master cleanse, dieters drink only a concoction of lemon juice, water, maple syrup and cayenne pepper for a period of ten days or more. During this time some intensify the cleansing actions of the diet by drinking herbal laxative teas or taking internal salt water flushes to clear their bodies of excess waste products.

 

While well known celebrities such as Beyonce and Robin Quivers have lost large amounts of weight quickly while on the diet, the plan does have its drawbacks. For instance, dieters often complain of feeling tired, fatigued or achy during the dieting session. Others complain of tooth or gum pain and soreness.

 

While the master cleanser, or lemonade diet, can help you lose weight quickly, you must change your lifestyle habits in order to keep the weight from coming back. Although users of this diet plan have had success in losing weight, it may not be the best or most efficient way to lose excess body pounds.

 

Finally, you should know there are no miracle diets. Even if you do lose a large amount of weight while following the master cleanser regimen, you will gain it back unless you change your eating and exercising habits. The only way to maintain a healthy weight is to eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly.

I am now at the end of day 5 and I feel better than ever and I have lost 9 1/2 lbs!!! My skin is vibrant and I am not hungry. I really can't believe how good I feel. I'm going to keep doing for at least 10 days, probably longer. I highly recommend the Master Clease to anyone who wants to feel more energized, look better and feel better.

Im in the middle of day 10. I just woke up one morning and said "I think I will start this today". I have dropped 26 pounds and I feel amazing. But I will admit every evening around 7 pm I was ravenous. Its not a miracle, its a hard disciplne and I just kept my eye on the prize: Today day 10 and my tongue is pink again.

I tried the lemonade diet and it worked just fine for me but it seemed like I gained a lot of weight back after a couple months. But now I know what I have to do so I will try it again.
