Charles F. Haanel is the author of The Master Key System. The Master Key System was a 24 part correspondence course on the metaphysical aspects of power and success. The Master Key System was originally published in 1912 (1917 in book form) supposedly influencing great business men, the latest one rumored to be Bill Gates. An up coming television program called The Secret has greatly revived interest in The Master Key System, an esoteric work supposedly banned by the Catholic Church in 1933.

Get a feel for The Master Key System by reading the online summary of each chapter (click "Chapters"). The downside is that the free ebook link is by email. It's worth it because each chapter in the pdf is bookmarked and if you read it while online there are live links to people and ideas. It also gives instructions for double-sided printing so you can take it with you. Interestingly enough this version doesn't include the orginal Introduction and Foreword; the editor, Anthony R. Michalski, has his own introduction. The Twenty-four Parts with the Study Questions and Answers are all there. Mr. Michalski has also included more in-depth questions and answers at the end of this pdf. It is not clear to me if these were written by him or are from some other book by the original author, Mr. Haanel.

I don't really see The Master Key System within this workbook but it's free (a link to a pdf file by email) and it looks helpful. While you're at this site you can also buy ebooks by Haanel and his mentor Thomas Troward.
