lao-Tse was a librarian in charge of secret scrolls ,René Descartes was a lawyer,army officer author and other things the emperor of Rome Marcus Aurelius' was caught between his love of the spiritual life and the demands of royalty. He wrote ' look within .within is your fountain of good. A champion on the athletic field was named Plato and Buddha was a prince who gladly gave up a kingdom in exchange for personal peace
I think of all the stories I have read about these men Gautama Buddha story bothered me the most so I went back to read his story again and now I know what was strange about this man he had what we all want in life wealth wife and a son and he left it all to look for real answers to why do humans suffer ? and found the 4 noble truths

A wish to understand
Over the years I noticed it's true the more times you read these books the more you understand actually some of these kinds of books sometimes I only understand the title of the book ! But I don't give up so easy not this time for some reason now days I need to know what these men are talking about! and so I keep reading and found out these books need to be read more then once to understand it has something to do with how our mind works it can only grasp a little at a time.
How Does It Go?

- I never thought I would that Jesus would speak to me until I died, but he did. I never thought I would see Jesus before I died, but I did. I never thought I would ever see Satan, but I have seen him. I never thought God would use me as his Witness, but He has. In April 2003, I saw Jesus and Satan square off, like it was the Show Down at the Wild West Show. They both poured their Spirits into the World as quoted in the Bible. In the Last Days, God will pour out his Spirit into the World, the Old shall dream dreams and the young shall prophesy before the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord. As Spoken by the prophet Daniel and in the Acts of the Apostles. This is why many of you a dreaming, uncontrollable dreams every-time you sleep. As I say to one, I say to all, Believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. the Day of the Lord is at hand! The Kingdom of God is at hand! Repent, turn away from sin and evil. You will be glad that you did! Everyone is being tested by God. Thank you for letting me share God's message.

- I think everyone has a cause, it just depends which way you come from,ie. crusaders, suicide bombers etc. and I think great men are those who know where to draw the line. Or in other words, the line between what's good and what's evil?

What makes America great

Find the one that you are curious about.. or start with the bible you grew up with..or the Qu-ran you were born with, maybe check out the Buddha or the Bhagavagita-Gita or how about the Kabbalah it does not matter where we start but to start the spiritual journey is important pick one and then check out others... too many religious people in other countries are stuck in the one book according to the area they are born.. and they fight and kill over the one.. But according to these men on this list the ones I do understand their answer is always to do the inner work. Why ?? Because not only he taught "The kingdom of God is within you" but he also taught 'For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Matthew 16:26

In America thank goodness we still have freedom to choose our own spiritual path as a individual which not all countries have this freedom we can choose any of them or all of them but then again we can choose none of them but the fact all these books are available to us all is what makes America great.
