Starting or Expanding Your Blogging

I keep a wide variety of blogs. Some of which I've been working on for months, others that I've just started. To me blogging has morphed from a rewarding hobby into a fun job! Sure, I'm not making much money, but if there's one thing you have to have as a blogger it is patience.

Traffic doesn't come overnight, and you can't expect to attract fans to your blog with only one post. These are the kinds of things that you have to work on. There's more to blogging than meets the eye!

Keeping a blog as your personal diary is a great experience. I have one myself, and I get great feedback and support from the other members of the community, but the fact is I'm not going to make much money just from writing whatever it is that pops into my head.

That's one reason why I've created separate "niche" blogs, each hosted on a different community blogging site.

Here are a list of some community blogging sites. I blog under a few different names, because each of my blogs has a specific subject that I tackle.

Blog Feast: BlogFeast is where I first really got into blogging. It's a great site, where I keep my personal blog. I write just about anything that pops in my head here, just for fun. I will say that since blogfeast is the oldest blog I have it's where a majority of my adsense clicks come from.
Blog Evolve: I'm obsessed with trivial or taboo knowledge, the "little known" fascinates me, which is why I keep my "Trivial Knowledge" blog here on Blog Evolve. This is a family friendly site, that is small but growing!

Always Keep These "Golden Rules" In Mind!

Always use correct grammar and punctuation. Make it an easy and enjoyable read for the readers, with proper sentence structure and correct spelling.
Do not use short hand. It's a pet peeve for a lot of folks and 'cus dis ain't AIM!!
Always read over your blog post before you submit it. You will almost always find a mistake!
