tTHis is the Best place to start if looking for a rescue mastiff. They can get you in contact with your local branch. You can expect to have to fill in an adoption questionnaire. They may even send a person over to your home to see if it will be a good forever home for a mastiff. - Mastiff Club Of Canada

A rescue Mastiff
Dancers story.
I came across a very sweet, some what neurotic mastiff. The poor girl had spent 2 of her 2 1/2 years of life locked in a pig barn. Dancer was a wonderful well bred mastiff. Even though she had spent most of her adult like away from most humans she still craved love and attention. The hard part for Dancer was she did not know basic, proper manors. Such as, you can't jump up on the coffee table or the bay window. You can't grab people by the hand to get their attention and you can't jump up on people. Dancer is a very smart girl so once she was taught the proper way to act her life was wonderfully happy. Dancer is part of our family and we love her very much Rescue a dog
Good dog rescue
There are many good dogs that need a loving home . Mastiffs are wonderful dogs and many of the mastiffs that come into rescue are gentle well adjusted giants . But some rescue dogs may come with a few problem . Some rescue mastiffs are escaping bad situations .When you adopt a mastiff from a rescue organization . expect to answer a lot of questions . Mastiff rescue will want to know if you will be committed as a life time home for the rescue mastiff. They will want to know if you have experience with dogs , do you have a fenced yard . Mastiff rescue may even come by and do a home check and personal interview .

- I've never met a Mastiff, but the do look like wonderful dogs. (I'm partial to all big dogs) And if I could I would rescue them all.
