Matchbox Twenty is a rock band from Orlando, Florida. They have sold over 44 million albums across the globe, starting with their first album in 1996, "Yourself or Someone Like You", that became a huge hit. It was followed by 2 other albums, 'Mad Season" and "More Than You Think You Are".

In 2005, rhythm guitarist Adam Gaynor, left the band and front man, Rob Thomas, to pursue a solo career releasing his own album. 2007 saw the group once again, minus Adam Gaynor, as they released their new album, a collection of their hits, "Exile on Mainstream", combined with US concert tours starting in January 2008. A 2009 album is also being planned. Current band members of Matchbox Twenty are Rob Thomas, Kyle Cook, Brian Yale and Paul Doucette.
