- As kids we were allowed to open pajamas on Christmas eve. We wore our new pj's to bed Christmas eve and opened our presents and checked our stockings wearing our new pj's on Christmas day. Now, as an adult, I have carried on the tradition. I am forever grateful to my husband who agrees to wear the footed, matching, embroidered, personalized, and sometimes far too tacky family pajamas Christmas eve! Our extended family now requests pictures of what our family wears every year as I seem to get more and more creative (and tackier) with it every year! Its a blast!

- This family tradition started with my Mom and now my daughter continues it with my grandchildren. On Christmas Eve everyone opens one present, and although they know it is their Christmas pajamas, everyone gets excited to see what they look like each year. For years, when everyone still lived home, we would all put on our matching PJs and it made the night festive. One year, when only one of my children was still living at home, I didn't get the pajamas and everyone was so depressed that I had to return to this tradition the following year. Fun memories....great pictures!

- My mother started this tradition when I was a child, and I continue it, and hope one day my kids will too! We always got to open one present on Christmas Eve. Although we knew they were pj's it was still exciting to see what kind! Now as a mommy, I realize it was more than holding us over til Christmas, or the fact that we lived in Alaska and always needed warm pj's... it was for pictures Christmas morning!!!! Thanks Mom!

- I started this tradition when I went through my divorce. My babies were still small and I could get "baby" and mommy pajamas. My ex's two girls are still an active part of my life and they too get pajamas on Christmas. All the kids know that they are getting new pajamas and are very excited about it every year. They are anxious to see what they look like. I can't wait until this year and neither can they. I am hoping this tradition will be carried on with all of my kids.

- We have ten grandchildren. Since we are a blended family, our annual Chistmas overnight has always been important to me. Eveyone (even grandma and grandpa) get pajamas and sweats. We all dress alike. (and we have a craft). The grandkids (oldest now 19 and youngest now 7) all love it. Know where I can get 13 pairs of pajamas (we now have a grand-daughter in-law :) at a good price
