- I just bought a 6.5 and love it! There are some things i did'nt care for at first but, after shooting quite a bit, i love it. Previously owned , Browning ,High country and pse bows this is my first Mathews and i'm very pleased. Buttery smooth, deadly accurate, blindingly fast. The only bad thing is, now i don't want to put it down.

- I went up to Southern Shooters on Saturday and shot the Hoyt Alpha 32, the Bowtech Admiral and the Reezen in 29/70. I "blind" shot all three bows and honestly overcame my substantial bias to Mathews. I have hunted many good miles with my Legacy. In the end, the other fine bows were set aside. I went with the Reezen. Real smooth, and very quiet. I know the engineering here is solid and the confidence I have with Mathews made it an easy decision. About $1,250, all in.

- I've tried alot of bows reciently Missions Eliminator, Mathews DXT, Hyperlite, Reezen 6.5, Botech Admiral, Hoyt's Alpha Max and a few other's. I currently Own a Hoyt XT2000 and like it alot. That said, I stayed away from the Reezen based on what people said about the draw and how it would show my flaws in shooting alot more. I was set to buy the Eliminator (Poormans DXT) for both control and feel. I liked it alot especially with the 20lb draw adjustment. I walked into Full Draw today to buy it and a gentleman had just finished test shooting the Reezen and wasn't happy with the draw length he wanted something shorter and he left. So just for kicks I asked the clerk if I could test it and he set me up and I shot it. Now I'm Pissed because I was set to spend $750 for a full set up Eliminator and I fell head over heels in love with a base $840 Reezen. I loved the pull the accuracy and all over feel of it. The best bow I have ever shot.[in reply to cody]

- I have shot the 6.5 and the 7.0. I now own the 7.0 and can say ive never been so happy about dropping $1400 with everything on it. I think giving up the extra ten fps for the extra forgiveness on the 7.0 is great. With everything thing on it im still shooting 322 fps at 29 1/2 in draw 71 lbs shooting easton axis 350's with 100g field points. im shooting the vaportrail dropaway rest and love it to death. The reezen 7.0 is a must. I also shot the alphamax 35in axle to axle ....but hate the fact that its not a single cam just dont like duals. The little bit harder of a pull then the dxt is well worth the back wall that is great. also its going to be harder to pull because of the more radical cam.

- GOT THE REEZEN IN 29/70; PREVIOUSLY HAD BEARS,PSE'S, PARKERS, AND MATHEWS LX, (WHICH I TRADED UP FROM)...VERY IMPRESSED...DON'T KNOW WHAT THE COMPLAINTS ARE ABOUT "BUZZ" IN THE BOW COMING FROM, BUT I NEVER FELT IT!
I also shoot with muzzy zero-effect rest, 10" Doinker Stabilizer, 55/75 Gold Tip Pro Hunter, 2" feathers and 2" vanes (handcut) and 100 grain tips. after tuning (which was quite easy!!!) and send the first arrow downrange, all you heard was the impact of arrow in target! The bow has mad, crazy SPEED I WAS GROUPING 1 1/2-2 INCHES IN NO TIME- EVEN ROBIN HOODING 2 OF MY GOLD TIPS !! I can't wait to unleash this puppy on the deer woods this fall.
THEY REALLY GOT SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE TO TRY TO CATCH IN '09! BUT I DOUBT ANYONE WILL, AS THE REEZEN IS A MACHINE!

- Shot the Reezen 6.5 today. 26" draw 59 lbs Trophy ridge Drop Away rest, Limbsaver Sights, dampners installed gold Tip 55/75, I have the same set ups on a Switchback xt, and a DXT. After sighting in, my first group of three arrows was less then 1" at 20 yards. The most impressive thing to me though was I had virtually no arrow drop from 10-25 yards. Both the DXT and Switchback because of my short draw and light poundage require two pins for the same distance. The Reezen was over 30 fps faster then the XT with the only differences being a little longer draw until letoff and slightly more kick after shot. I will take that in a heartbeat for the additional speed. I bought it. $1200 (before taxes) loaded with all the bells and whistles.

- Badger State, I drove 65 miles to shoot a new Reezen yesterday, and I agree with you, I wouldn`t know how to carry it with it being so front heavy. Also the vibration in the handle was the most I`ve felt in a Mathews, the vibration you could fix but not many options to make it balance better . I want to replace my Ultra2 with something even faster than what I have now, but it also needs to feel good in your hand and the Reezen isn`t it. I`ll wait and shoot a Monster before I jump ship, sure hope it`s better. Shot a 08 PSE X Force yesterday also, that was nice Zero vibration and very quiet, great balance. Have to shoot a new 09 X Force before I decide. My first compound bow was a PSE Citation that I bought new in 1974, that was without a doubt the best bow on the market at the time, spent all my trapping money as a teenager to get it. Looks like the PSE may be the best again.

- Spent some time shooting everything this past weekend...Shot the Reezen 6.5, and was not impressed. 29 Inches and 70lbs, with nothing on it but a fixed rest. Initial feel was extremely top heavy, cam seems to create a draw cycle that is way to abrupt near full draw, and the amount of vibration and "jump" absolutely shocked me...I guess I had higher expectations. I was disappointed. (and I am a mathews guy, thinking of going back to PSE) I must admit, I shot this against the alphamax, dxt, xforce gx and the bow madness...Let's just say I will not be finding a "reezen" to buy one.

- Shot the Reezen 6.5 about 75 times. Bow was 30" draw and 70lb weight, with muzzy zero-effect rest, 10" Doinker Stabilizer, 55/75 Gold Tip Pro Hunter, 2" quick spins and 100 grain tips. Bow was a little top heavy, had a slight jump forward at release and little vibration in handle. After a dozen shots we added STS Dampner and it took care of the vibration and seemed to balance a little better. Bow was very fast and recorded around 320 FPS. I would like to shoot the 7.0 to see the difference if any. Overall bow stayed tuned and was well pleased with results after the dampner was installed. I would rate it an 9, only negative not as smooth as DXT or Switchback, but with that nasty cam and crazy speed that's expected.
