MathSpace: Be a mathematician astronaut!

Ranked #70,978 in Computers & Electronics, #1,087,714 overall

An addictive math game!

People make games based on known game styles, such as shooters, but not always they do a good job. Like me, tried to make a shooter game with music, the idea was good, but I did not do a good job, take a look at Music Shooter.

But Bruno (also known as Brwnow in Brazil) did a great job. I bet you didn't like maths on school, right? Yeah, but you probbably have played a math game in your life, and I also bet you liked that.

MathSpace

MathSpace is not a shooter game, but when you first see, it kind of looks like those old school shooter scroller game, where you have a spaceship and shoot enemies all around. However, this game is really fun, you don't have to shoot anything, all you have to do is to get a lot of points by catching numbers in space. Yeah, catching numbers in space.

How much is 6 7? 13! And 13 X 9? Wow, I don't even want to do that math, do it yourself, that's a lot of numbers. That's points. You start with the plus mark, then you go catching numbers: 1, 8, 5, 4! 1 8 5 4 = 18. Now you see the multiplication mark, GO towards this mark, then now the next number you'll get will MULTIPLICATE that! What if you catch 5? You'll make 90 points. Be careful not catching marks like division, or subtraction, if you make less than 0 points, you'll lose the game.

Isn't that COOL? I got a video of the gameplay, here it is. Come on, you HAVE to play that now. I'm addicted to that game, and I know you'll be too. See you there!

Educational Use

This game is awsome for educational purposes.

Unfortunatelly, most people don't like mathmatic. Probbably because they had a traumatic experience when kid. Since this game is based on basic math functions, it can be applied for children of age 4 to 7. It helps kids to like and learn math.

This could be the definitive way to help our children to like math since the begin, and then get better grades later.
