Spectra's History
Spectra was made by Mattel in 1987. These dolls represent alien beings from the planet Shimmeron who have come to Earth in search of fun and excitement. Each of the 11 1/2" tall dolls had a solid plastic body (specially painted to look metallic), fully jointed arms and legs, and a soft plastic head with rooted hair. Dolls are marked on the head "Mattel, INC 1986" and on the lower back "Mattel, Inc. 1975 Taiwan". Fashions are untagged and do not include shoes.
