Matthew Proman
Matthew Proman is 34 years of age, and serves as the Founder and President of the National Association of Professional Women, the largest professional women's association in the United States. As an entrepreneur, Matthew Proman understands how to establish platforms from which individuals can efficiently and effectively present themselves to further their careers and to achieve personal and professional success.
With this keen insight, and recognizing that professional women throughout the United States could greatly benefit from an association devoted to facilitating networking among these professional women themselves, Matt Proman founded the NAPW. Through the organization, tens of thousands of women have been able to connect with others, developing greater skills and furthering their career.
Matthew Proman is an entrepreneur with a bold, deliberate and highly infectious spirit. He has never been hindered by the usual conventions of time-of-day or day's-of-the-week: the speed with which Matt Proman acts and the extraordinary number of disparate business ventures and philanthropic efforts in which he is regularly involved are not limited by what most view as "too much to handle".
Mr. Proman grew up on New York's western Long Island. Blessed with untiring energy, he was determined at an early age to succeed. From the very beginning, Matthew wanted to achieve commercial success and he wanted to make significant contributions the welfare of those who were limited by health-related impediments poor socio-economic circumstances.
Matthew Proman is an avid philanthropist who regularly contributes money and in-kind services to a broad array of charities including Mount Sini Hospital in New York City, The National Diabetes Foundation and the Jack martin Foundation for Terminally Ill Children. Mr. Proman also ran a number of New York City Marathons around which he raised over $100,000 for several charities.
Most recently, Matt Proman initiated a unique NAPW-sponsored public-private partnership to provide association members an opportunity to mentor junior high school girls from Newark, New Jersey.
