The arm strength of Stafford is one of his greatest attributes. His cannon for an arm is something that cannot be taught. His footwork could be improved but that is something that NFL quarterback coaches should be able to take care of.

He is a mobile quarterback who is accurate while making plays on the run. He has good size and is likely to get stronger with the NFL strength and conditioning coaches. Stafford has also proved to be a strong leader which is exactly what you want from your starting quarterback.

So far it has been a tough year for Stafford and the Lions, but there has been lots of signs of promise. He has shown that he is a gritty quarterback with a rifle for an arm and it looks like he is going to be a big part of turning the Lions franchise around.
