Eco Art Recycled Art
This is about recycled items that I paint on
So far I have painted on brown grocery sacks and hand bent free standing silver spoons. I think they both turn out great. I sell all these art pieces and more at my etsy shop http://bellacosaart.com come check them out Silver smithing
tyring my hand at soldering
These are the first five thing I have made. I have always enjoyed making jewelry but wanted to take it to a new level. I love the handcrafted, artisan look and decided I wanting to try silver smithing, basically soldering my own pieces and making my own findings. It is going to take some practice but it is really fun. I am learning how to do it by watching youtube and by the great artisans on etsy who have been a great help with supplies, instructions and a wealth of invalueable info. Brand new art!
Flowers
Just completed these three pieces. Here is one of the pieces, if you would like to see the other two and more different pieces please check out my blog. http://fineartbymattos.blogspot.com/ They are all acrylic on gallery wrap canvas. I love painting flowers and using bold color. What is fun about these pieces while all being bright and colorful they are all very different. I have been having fun experimenting and trying new things. These are going to a very stylish, modern and beautiful salon. I did these pieces with the place in mind. These are all for sale. If you are interested in any of these or something like this, please post a comment and I will first see you in my email, include your email address and I will get to you shortly, I will not publish your post with your email. If you would like to just post a comment that would be great too, I'd love to hear from you all. Great Flickr Photos

The life behind the artist
Here is what we are up to lately. Lots of family fun.
Popular Past Work...Would you like a custom piece?
Gallery of the Past
If you are interested in any of work that you see here let me know. I will consider commission work. As you know each piece is original so no two will ever be exactly alike, but if you like a style or subject matter or maybe even the colors, please contact me. You can go to my gallery shop at http://bellacosaart.etsy.com or to my blogspot http://fineartbymattos.blogspot.com or through here. Please keep checking back I will try to continue to add to this site. Thank you Hand Painted Silk Scarves
More unique work...
Along with canavs painting I have also been silk painting for the last few years. This a fun medium, I try to stay looser since silk painting is definetly less controllable. I start with a blank white piece of silk, I then free hand draw a design on the silk with gutta resist or the actual dye. I then hand dye the whole scarf with a paint brush. Each piece is unique and original, designs are sometimes repeated but are completely hand drawn so no two are ever exactly alike. My current work can be seen and purchased in my etsy shop. http://bellacosaart.etsy.comI am currently working on new ones now. Please check back often, I will be adding my two most popular sizes 11x60 and 25x25. Please sign my guest book I would love to hear from you.
Trout Unlimited Dinner
My donated Painting
Recently my husband and I attended our local chapter of the Trout Unlimited. It was a fun evening and good food. My husband and I donated a couple items, one item being a watercolor of a trout that I did. Sorry about the photo I fogot to take pictures before the framing so there is some glare. It was in the silent action and went for a fair amount. An an artist it is always nerve racking, thinking that no one will bid, but it is for a good cause and worth the risk and so far it has worked out great. Reader Feedback
