The bar scene is not the place to meet anyone of quality or so the story goes. So where do you meet your new companion, friend or love of your life? The internet has answered that question and thousands are flocking to a host of dating websites with great hope and expectation....
From experience, I speak to you as a friend and a soul who has journeyed into the fray! I offer tips and ideas that hopefully will help you. We'll take seriously and laugh ober a few of my dating stories and we'll post a few from my friends along the way.
I will be reviewing some websites for you and we hope to post some good bad and the just plain horrids from some of my on line friends.

There are sooo many choices that it can be confusing which dating sites to join. We suggest that you never spend money until you have tried a site first or at least spend some time looking at it.
Most sites will let you join free. Free membership will generally mean that you can post a profile, but will have limited access to other members. That means that you may not be able to email, but you should be allowed to search.
Every site has a unique profile. Look at the profile and how it's done. Some sites will offer more information than others. Decide what appeals to you. Some sites look more professional than others. It's strickly a matter of taste.
Look at the local listings for your area before you sign up as a paid member. If the listings are limited, you may want to opt for a site that has a better selection for your area.
Look at the number of members. More traffic and members means that your odds of finding that special someone increase.
Look at the forums. Although you may not be a frequent poster, the forums are going to give you an idea of the flavor of the site.Decide if the type of people that are there are the same type of people that would fit your needs.
Look st the price of the site. You will always get a better deal if you sign up for more months. remember, if you sign up for a specific time period, you have the option of cancelling at the end of the time frame. But you will not get a refund before that ends. If you want to cancel, you have to wait for the end of the period that you signed up for. If the date has worked out and you would like to see her again, ask her if she is comfortable with calling you. If you can't see things going anywhere, then tell her thanks, tell her that you enjoyed meeting her. And end it there. Don't promise to contact her, when you don't intend to at all. Misleading her will only hurt her feelings.
