Thanks for all the helpful info. I am having a Max's and Ruby party soon for my 3 year old. Ordered the pinata you recommended. We are playing a bunny ring toss game, there will be colors and max and ruby coloring pages taped to the paper table cloth to color, and play one game I made up: hiding some squirty frogs around the living room and the kids need to find "Max's frogs" and return them to the pond (bathtub)... we even made lilypads to float in the tub out of styrofoam plates/cups. And I plan on making the Max and Ruby cakes, watching the one of the Bunny party shows and for favors, I bought some $4.00 books and a bunny etible necklace and a wind-up toy. I can't wait!

These were wonderful ideas. I recently planned a Max and Ruby for my daughter who just turned three. I did a similar cake for Ruby and used some of your ideas for the dirt cake as well. It worked out wonderfully. We did a generic pinata as well. Thanks for posting!

I'm do ing the Max and Ruby theme too for my soon to be 3 yr old b/g twins! (in April) Found invitations on ebay, found Easter Bunny plates and napkins at the dollar store. For favors, we are giving white chocolate Easter Bunnies and the Max and Ruby busy day sticker books (bought them on amazon) I found cupcake toppers also on ebay. That's about it! Can't wait!

Great party ideas. I've seen the "worm cake" idea done with Chocolate pudding, with just the cookie part of Oreo cookies crumbled up in it to create "mud",add the gummy worms. Place mixture in a small plastic "sand pail" and eat with small plastic shovel. Great for a boys party.
