Max Lucado Writes Great Childrens Books!

My kids love to hear these stories every night.

One of my son's favorite books is You Are Special. This is the first book in the Wemmicks series and it teaches children that they are special just because. There are no qualifications necessary. We do not have the rest of the Wemmicks books, but I am sure they are just as good as this one. Another favorite is Just In Case You Ever Wonder. It is a letter from the parent to the child that lets them know that they are unconditionally loved and protected, even when the world is sometimes scary.

Hi Max, love your books. Have almost all of them. I have them proudly displyed on my bookshelf and pulled out In the Grip of Grace. I had read it several yrs ago now. Love to go back and find more and more gems from your books. Most touched by the chapter about Godless living. how true. True and frightening. Are we headed down that path or are we already on it. ??. . As you quote from Dostoesky- " If God is dead, then everything is justifiable". thank you again for your writings. Big fan. M. My wife left 2 months ago. I don't understand the separation and have prayed earnestly
about it. Lately, I have heard in her comments subtle ways of saying it is over. I laid on the bed today and prayed/talked to the Lord about it and asked why if "greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world", was the evil one winning this battle and accomplishing his destruction of our marriage. I knew the answer, my wife was not accepting the Lord's answers to prayers and blessings. I cried. Then I got up and read the Word and then another chapter in Max's Hearing God Through The Storm, A gentle Thunder. And the chapter for that day was Lessons from the Garden, The God Who Reclaims the Sacred. Could not have been a better chapter. The prayer at the end to Our Heavenly Father, was about driving satan out of my marriage garden and defeating him. I cried again. Praise the Holy Name of the Only True Living God & My Savior Jesus Christ. Amen !
