The Shift of Ages
Most calendars from around the world are limited to simply focusing upon astronomical cycles such as solar years and moon cycles which are devices marking and tracking the passing of time and seasons.
The Mayan Calendar on the other hand has been and continues to be a spiritual tool enabling us to increase our awareness about the evolution of consciousness as it plays out throughout creation.
Tzol'kin is the name given by Mayanist scholars of the 260-day Mesoamerican calendar which was used by the pre-Columbian Mesoamerica Mayan civilization. The word means "count of days", and was coined based on Yukatek Maya.
The tzolk'in calendar combines a cycle of twenty named days with another cycle of thirteen numbers (the trecena), to produce 260 unique days (i.e., 20 × 13 = 260). Certain (time keepers) as well as scholars through a process of decoding the calendar have been able to identify and track key developments which mark stages of our evolving consciousness as well the events which have or are likely to emerge as it tracks the evolving process of consciousness through its natural rhythms and cycles, one stage leading to the next.
The calendar is associated with nine creation cycles, which represent nine levels of consciousness or Underworlds as symbolized by the Mayan pyramids.

Hunab Ku
Galactic Butterfly
Hunab Ku is a symbol expressing the prime creative urge which is of course the essence of all that is. It symbolizes therefore the beauty, the balance, the essential spiralling movement the complex of sending and receiving ability which each centre has as a means of maintaining resonant frequency with that which each centre chooses to align.
The galactic butterfly essentially pulses to energize all that is vibrating within the sacred now; which is the field of creation. It is therefore an ideal way to portray the galactic centre in these times. It allows that we align our consciousness with the creator and to come to understand the flow and the manner with which integrity is maintained throughout creation.
It is in these times possible to align heart with understanding of this essential aspect of the energetic of creation. Through the understanding of the Mayan system of time and by absorbing and digesting all that is currently available through this cosmo-genesis story we sense the importance of a conscious realignment with the divine in order to effectively play ones part in this unfolding drama which is the final and therefore co creative day on which God takes a rest. It is truly now time to add our essential part to this grand and wonderful play.
