    We stayed in a nice big condo in the golden zone after much research we found a Mazatlan condo rental 1/2 block from beach and loaded with all the amenities we wanted but what made it our choice was sleeps up to 9 [our family is 6], patio, pool in gated comm. 42" HDTV, free computer to use kept the kids quiet at night, the custom spanish interior and being off the main drag it was quiet at night and you could escape crowded touristy areas unlike a hotel/resort.

    @EverythingMouse: I'm sure you're going to have a great time on your cruise! The Pacific Coast has a lot to offer! Maybe I can get together a lens for you with suggested activities for your day in port!

    I am going on a Mexico cruise next month and this is one of the ports of call. Can't wait to get there!
