ideas
Hey, it is hard to come up with ideas sometimes about what to cook tonight. Basics are good. Try some of my recipes.. chicken recipes
easy
fried chickenall i do is get:
1 pkg chicken
season with (according to your taste)
salt, seasoning salt, garlic salt,
pepper,cheyenne pepper(if you want spicy)
flour
oil
season chicken, roll in flour, add oil to pan( works better with non-stick pan ), after oil gets hot(test by dropping a small pinch of flour in hot oil, hot when flour sizzles and frys on top of oil),
put floured chicken in pan. Dont over crowd your pan of oil. Chicken cooks better by having space in between chicken. turn often. cook on med high temp. for about 30 min.. turning often. otherwise it will burn.

chicken and dumplings
sounds good for tonight
boil chicken, add seasonings, I use salt, garlic, and seasoning salt, and pepper.make dough from flour and water only. Oil makes dough fall apart so does milk.
roll out dough and cut into strips. Make your dough thin or else you will have bisquits floating.
drop into chicken broth one at a time until all is used. Quantity is up to you on chicken and the dumplings. Do not stir to often and cook on med low. use a non-stick large pot. Let cook for 30 min. the longer it cooks the better it taste.
serve with some kind of fresh beans or peas.
or just use some young green early peas
