Meaning of dreams ... A-Z Guide
Most people have dreams. Some people hold that dreams are meaningful. Priests and sorcerers once interpreted dreams. It's fun to try to figure out the meaning of dreams.
People can do it themselves with the tools found oline. There's a site on the Internet that calls itself the A-Z guide to figuring out the meaning of dreams.
Its Web address is: http://petrix.com/dreams/
Using this guide someone can piece together the images found in their dreams to come up with an overall meaning. This site separates the images into categories.
The categories are animals, calendar, body parts, color, seasons, and a catchall category for everything else. An article in the Los Angeles Times recommended the site. Here's a closer look at many of the categories.
Animals mean a lot when seen in dreams. This category has almost every animal you can think of.
Alligators equate to fear. Your mind might be worried about an upcoming decision. Ants are all about working hard. If the ants eat you, you're on your own. A dream elephant is all about being persistent. It tells you to keep working hard. Lice mean worry and distress.
A calendar is important to the meaning of dreams.
January means money. It could also mean you're trying to solve a problem. December in a dream means that wealth will soon be yours, but also that a friend will be lost. April refers to something good just ahead. However, raining in April means something bad may be on the way.
The next important category for the meaning of dreams is body parts.
The ankle tells people that success will follow failure. Look at the long term instead of the short term. People who dream about cheeks expect a long, prosperous life. The finger is what lets you feel. People use the hand and fingers to reach out and touch the world.
A dream finger means caring about things in the world. Take this as a sign to become curious about the world. Each body part has its own unique meaning.
There are other categories that are important for determining the meaning of dreams.
Keep smiling :-)
