The Man Who Wasn't There..........
From the mind of Edward Livingston-Blade, comes a story that will rock the very core of all you thought was true. There are some things in this world that we've always believed were constant, always reliable.....but time and history don't seem to be in that category anymore.
"The Man Who Wasnt There" is the story of Geoffrey Mearn: hero, criminal, sometimes-mendicant, and former President of the United States.
His world is a reality that has run in loose parallel with our own, but an
accelerated space program -- driven in part by competition with a Soviet
Union that never fully collapsed -- has brought the major world powers to the
doorstep of manned space exploration beyond their own moon.
With Mearn in the role of unwitting catalyst, events are forcing together
several dissonant powers, formerly operating only in the shadows of society.
As they face off, violence is inevitable, and the civilized world will be
their battleground. When the field is cleared, what -- if anything -- will
remain?

About the author....
discouraging', and really discovered comics through a Stan Lee squarebound
collection of origin-issue reprints. Cheap escapism? You betcha -- and I
wouldn't have traded that four-color world for anything. By my early teens I
was an avid collector, pocketing my lunch money because a stack of 60 cent
Marvels was preferrable to school cafeteria food in oh so many ways.
As an adult I've worked as a high-school and adult-ed teacher, a network
admin, and a freelance troubleshooter behind a successful sole proprietorship
in California's Coachella Valley -- but getting on into my 30's, I woke up
one day and realized that all I really wanted to do is write the kind of
stories that had so much effect in shaping me during my formative years.
Today, MeW is the first (finished) product of that desire..."

Caio Menescal Reis
Meet one of the Artists.....
Caio Menescal Reis (age 25) was born and raised in Fortaleza city, on the northeastern coast of Brazil -- a warm and friendly town where the sun shines 300 days a year.Although he's been drawing ever since he can remember, after finishing high school he decided to go to law school. He graduated in the class of 2006.1 at the University of Fortaleza, but instead of pursuing a conventional career as a lawyer he decided to chase the old dream. He's been studying sequential art and drawing for over a year now, always working to develop his abilities and learn new techniques.
Caio holds himself to high expectations in his chosen career, and is getting started by accepting smaller jobs with independent publishers. So far, he says, it has been a great experience.
Caio has many artistic influences, from classic masters like Alan Davis, Neal Adams and John Buscema to contemporary-style artists such as Adam Hughes, Frank Cho, Travis Charest and others.
Caio has enjoyed comics since he was young. His first contact with sequential art was in Disney's books, and the Brazilian comic Turma da Mônica. Later he became interested in superhero comics like Batman and Spider-Man. Right now, he's reading mainstream comics but is also looking into a lot of European material. His idea is to get a broader view of sequential art as a medium, and learn as much as possible from the works of other cultures.

Federico
Rounding out this fearsome foursome....
Federico was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he still lives. He knew he wanted to be in comics after winning a special national contest in 1996. He met Leonardo Manco (Hellblazer, Blaze of Glory, Apache Skies), who became his teacher and chief as Federico began three years of work as his assistant, mainly on Hellblazer. "That was really cool," Federico says, "because it was just about the time the movie (Constantine) was released."Later, he started working on his own and had a short story published in Desperado Publishing's Negative Burn anthology, and pencilled the fourth and fifth part of Common Foe.
More of Federico's projects will be released in 2007 by Image Comics and Arcana Studio.
