Liquid Filled Meat Thermometer

This multipurpose thermometer takes the guesswork out of cooking meats and poultry and starting yeast for breads and other baked goods. Its 3-inch face measures temperatures from 105 to 185 degrees F. The face displays a guide for proper meat, poultry, and yeast temperatures. The thermometer is made of stainless steel, has a 3-1/2-inch stem, and is dishwasher-safe.
Customer Review
"I bought a Taylor meat thermometer years ago when I first got married. Back then, the little stick part that goes into the meat was made of glass. After 30 years of use, it finally broke. I looked around locally for a replacement, but couldn't find one. I found this new thermometer at Amazon and it's better than the old one (if that's possible). The little stick part that goes into the meat is now made of metal (stainless steel?) It's really strong. I'm sure I'll have this one for another 30 years."

Classic Style Meat Thermometer
Bi-Metal Meat Thermometer

This thermometer takes the guesswork out of cooking meats and poultry. Its easy-to-read 2-3/4-inch dial measures temperatures from 120 to 200 degrees F. A guide on the dial's face shows proper meat and poultry temperatures, from rare beef to well-done turkey, and a red arrow on the rim can be moved to a desired temperature as a reminder. The thermometer is made of stainless steel, has a 4-1/2-inch stem, and is dishwasher-safe.
Customer Review
"This is a great meat thermometer. I used this while cooking a corned beef brisket in a pot. It takes a few seconds for it to get an acurate read but it works well. The construction is sturdy and its easy to read. When using it to test the temp. of my corned beef simmering in the pot the display tended to fog up a bit, but I think that would happen to any meat thermometer when put too close to steam.
Only downside is when I washed it, some water got underneath the disply and into the unit itself. I was able to shake it out but it was not easy. I would recommend washing this thermometer carefully and not running direct water over the display or submerging it."

Taylor Digital Instant-Read Pocket Thermometer
Digital Meat Thermometer
For professional accuracy, nothing beats this digital thermometer for instantly ascertaining the temperature of foods, whether they're frozen, on the buffet line, or being cooked. Its 1/3-inch LCD face, protected by a rugged polycarbonate cover, displays temperatures from minus 58degrees to 302 degrees F, and updates every second. An on/off switch prolongs the life of the 1.5-volt watch battery that powers the thermometer. (Two batteries are included.) The thermometer comes with a pocket case and has a 4-5/8-inch stainless-steel stem tipped with a temperature sensor, so the thermometer reads temperatures near a food's surface or deep inside.
Customer Review
"After reading customer reviews on other digital thermometers and realizing that ALL thermometers are not created equally, I ordered this Taylor digital. It more than met my needs and overcame the drawbacks of others: It is small enough to fit easily into a drawer and can be carried in a shirt pocket; it is extremely easy to clean; since the digital readout is on the flat "head", the temperature is VERY easy to read without having to bend over or read it upside down; it has an ON/OFF button to save the battery and it comes with an extra battery included. Although the description says "instant-read", you do have to watch the read-out climb (quickly) to the current temperature. I'll never have tough, over-cooked meat again."

Remote-check ET-7 Wireless Thermometer with 2 probes
Thermocouple Digital Meat Thermometer
This is the ONLY remote meat / barbecue thermometer that can monitor 2 types of meat or 2 doneness levels (i.e. rare, medium, well done, etc.). Just insert one or both probes into your favorite cuts of meat and select how want them cooked. When the meat is cooked exactly to your liking, the receiver will let you know by beeping. Both the receiver and the transmitter (which is attached to the probes) display the progressive meat temperature in 5-second intervals on their easy-to-read LCD screens. The receiver also displays a clock and timer. Suitable for outdoor barbecue or indoor oven use, this dual-probe wireless barbecue thermometer system makes the perfect gift for anyone who enjoys cooking! Use it to get perfectly cooked beef, chicken, fish, pork, lamb or any other common grill meats.
Customer Review
"This is useful and fun, what more could you ask ? You can use one or two probes. The probes are connected to the transmitter, you then turn on the remote, then the transmitter. I use it for everything, steaks, chops, whatever. I go into the living room and watch the remote. When the temperature gets over about 100 I turn the meat over if necessary. The only thing I have noticed is the temperatures that trigger the audible alarm are set too high, likely thanks to lawyers. For example, when I set it to medium rare for beef, it was more like medium. Now I set it on rare ( 140 ) and get a perfect medium rare. For pork the number is 170. I take it off at 160. After all, it continues to cook after it is taken off. Before I bought this I used to guess but now I get perfect results every time. Highly recommended."
