What IS redundant is serving that same old, same old meatloaf recipe you've been using for years.

I love meatloaf, and I love meatballs, If you're like me, you haven't lived until you've tried this meatball meatloaf.

Luckily the Unknown Chef has made another visit to my kitchen to help me spice up that tired old meatloaf I make.

Well, yes, I like my recipe. After all, I have "perfected" it for years and years.

Yet, I must say the Unknown Chef has convinced me to branch out into cooking adventures, especially with my ground meat imagination.

The Unknown Chef Creates Meatball Meatloaf

The Unknown Chef

The idea is to make great meatball mix, then cook it like a meatloaf.

Hence, meatball meatloaf. Not meatloaf meatballs. Not at all. Start out to make meatballs. Rather than brown or drop in sauce to simmer, make a meatloaf and bake it.

The Unknown Chef will take us through this simple, but tasty for a change, cooking escapade. Such an inventive devil that guy. Very helpful. So anonymous.

Well, is it meatballs or meat loaf? Psssst. It's both.

The Unknown Chef will let us in on a few tricks.

Ingredients

While "UC" chops onions, here are the ingredients:

1 ½ pounds ground meat, half beef half pork or veal mixture, butcher store meatloaf mix beef alone is ok
1 cup italian seasoned breadcrumbs
2 eggs
2 oz fine pecorino romano cheese
1 cup chopped onions finely chopped
fresh parsley if possible chopped finely pick a hand full
1 tsp salt and 1 tsp ground black pepper optional
toi cloves garlic finely chopped
1 tsp flake red pepper
splash red wine optional
mix thoroughly with clean hands, turning mixture in on itself until completely mixed
form int loaf
place in baking dish
350ofor 1 hr to 1 hr 15 min

Clean bare hands work best to thoroughly mix the meatball mixture. Then instead of rolling meatballs all afternoon, make a meatloaf shape. Bake and ooooh, it smells good. Then is tastes great.

    OMG, this is too hilarious -- that unknown chef has hairy arms! So, I don't think it is YOU. Well, from one meatball to another ... love that meatloaf!

    Thanks Julie, but I do have hairy arms, just not that hairy. What I really don't have is those eyebrows, thank goodness.
