Medical Marijuana is OK for Minors

I do not know all the answers about the medical marijuana debate. I am just a mom with a kid who is in a lot of pain. There is no perfect cure for pain. However, I have done my homework, and believe that cannabis is the best option available for my son to treat his chronic pain. Before you choose any course of medical treatment, do your homework, seek medical advice from doctors who are familiar with your case, ask lots of questions, and do what you think is best.

Of couse it is I started Smoking at Age 11, I finally got a good night sleep. But was of course consdered a stoner, no such thing as Medical Marijuana in michigan in the 1970's . Also it seems the classes I had first thing in the moring were the ones i did the best, BUSS stop tokes helped the un diagnosed ADD or ADHD what ever you call it. its time for the government to legalize marijuana for anyone, i use marijuana for my asthma and i havent had an asthma attack in the past 4 years, and i would get them at least 3 times a year. its just useless and completely rediculous to illegalize a plant.

Damned straight, I think medically Cannabis is useful for anyone in pain, minor or not. The time has ended for research!

An eyeopening book is Jack Herrer's The Emperor Wears No Clothes. Turns out doctors know that it is the treatment of choice for asthma, but of course they can't go around publicizing that. My then minor son started smoking it behind my back and quit having attacks. In fact, he never had one again, and got to quit carrying the inhalent around. And I got to quit going to the emergency room. I live in California so it was easy for him to get it, and truthfully, I did not catch on for quite a while. That's how little it affected him otherwise. I think it is ridiculous that the FDA has the gall to say it has no medical benefit when lots of doctors will tell you otherwise, not to mention, lots of PATIENTS. And mothers of patients. It was a Godsend for me that he found it. He's all grown up now and gone...so I don't have to worry about the legal worries of it. I was so niave I just thought the ocean air agreed with him. But since it worked so well I started reading about it and found that book.

It's a no brainer... Why tell your kid to suck it up and live with the pain.. or nausea, or anorexia (just some of the conditions marijuana is legally recommended for... When your kid can benefit from the medicinal properties of a substance with side effects less damaging than opiate based prescription medicines, and less habit forming?
