The Palm Pre for Medical Professionals

Palm Pre - Ready to be your Medical PDA?

The Palm Pre is a slider style multimedia smartphone running on the new Palm webOS that was launched June 6, 2009. The Pre has an internal camera (3.2 Megapixels), slide out keyboard, GPS, WiFi, a HVGA screen (320×480), and 8 gigabytes of flash memory for storage. The Palm Pre does not have a SD card slot for memory expansion. These attractive features make the Palm Pre a good candidate for a single device for medical professionals (replacing a phone, PDA, and possibly a pager). The catalog of native webOS applications for the Pre currently has only one medical title.

The Classic Emulator (Palm OS) allows you to run many of the vast number of high quality PalmOS medical applications on your Palm Pre.

  • Epocrates
  • Skyscape Applications
  • and Much More
