    One of the most profound experiences I ever had was visiting the Big Horn Medicine Wheel in Wyoming. It is awesome to look at and one can feel the energy from centuries of rituals conducted by the tribes who visited here. The wheel itself can only be entered by someone of Native American ancestry so I walked the outside perimeter in meditation and still felt the connection to the earth, sky, and the four directions.

    Wonderful lens! I have participated in several Medicine Wheel ceremonies, and they were amazing.

    It's interesting to see how, historically, the Celtic people have been able to integrate so easily with the indian cultures present in America as they were forced from their homes and immigrated to the United States. Could it be because of their common heritage of reverence for the Earth and the constant flowing of energies their lives so initimatley integrate with wherever they go? the Druid and the Medicine Man holding the same reverance in common.....

    The Medicine Wheel is an area that I have been very drawn too, studied it a little but than wandered off to something else. I know the sacredness of them and I still want to learn more.     I participated in a Medicine Wheel ceremony last summer and it was a fabulous experience, I loved every minute of it!
